Uncle
A Short Story

“I don't want you to get you haircut,” my mother said. She was suddenly very serious, and I could see that something was wrong. It seemed like fear in her eyes.

“It's just a haircut, Mom,” I said. I was struggling to see what the big issue was. But there was something very wrong. I looked at her in a way that I thought demanded an answer.

“I don’t think I’ve ever heard Patty laughing so hard.

“Well, that settles it,” my mom said grinning at Mrs. Garner.

I’d guessed wrong. I looked at Mrs. Garner and saw she was smiling from ear to ear with a glint in her eyes. Patty was laughing hysterically and Amy was giggling. I looked at my mommy and she was putting away the baby items in what used to be Patty’s diaper bag and I realized with shame that it was now my diaper bag.

I began crying. I’d just agreed to be a baby girl and everyone thought it was my choice.

Jessica delivers her twin girls but the birth only complicates things for Terry.

Welcome one and all to the 33rd Century. Earthers, now known as Terrans, have spread throughout the Milky Way Galaxy and found both kindred and not so kindred spirits in the millions of systems throughout. The Species- as all the Sub-Species of the Galaxy now belong- trade and interact as the countries of Earth once did. As time dictates, a lot of things have been forgotten over the centuries.
Oh, and the ‘Way’ is far bigger than the ‘Experts’ of ‘Ancient’ Earth once thought or calculated.

Not one to risk upsetting his wife Joan, Gerald agrees to her desire for him to be pretty when they go out in public together. One thing leads to another and Gerald decides to become a woman and accept the fact that Joan and he have switched marital roles.

I watched her drive away and wondered if I was being foolish trying to make something work that might have no future. I pounded the wheel in frustration, hitting the horn accidentally and scaring an old couple walking by half to death. I opened the window and offered a sheepish apology.

Our intrepid Wizard Du jour is sheltering in place with Murphy, the love of his life. Things are quiet, the physical and magical worlds have paused, and the loving couple can finally relax and get down to business (literally). Unfortunately for Harry, nothing is ever quiet, or simple.Updated Contains mature themes, descriptions of sex, and transformations of all sorts. spoilers for all Dresden Novels.

Victor legally becomes Vicki. But, will that insure she is considered a girl if someone thinks she is a boy?

Summer With Em Chapter 44

The township of Benton has three main water towers, one of which has been closed down and is no longer in operation. That one happens to also be the tallest of the tree, the structure looms over the skyline of the town like a sleeping giant made out of copper, iron and steel. The rails lining the catwalk that surrounds the dome have turned to orange rust and are crumbling and decaying. The once bright navy blue letters that once spelled out the word “Benton” have become chipped and turned to an off color of blue.
