A friendly place to read, write and discuss Transgender Fiction.
Home of 3000+ chapters of Easy as Falling off a Bike by Angharad and many other stories.
I'm going to use this as a place to discuss search, how to use it and what people want to use it for.
A few things:
When you use multiple words in a search, the default is to perform an OR search. Searching for curly perm will turn up both curly and perm and will list first results that have both terms.
Searches are case insensitive. Perm, perm and PERM are all the same.
Searches are made for roots, so perm, perms, permed and perming are all the same. But permanent is a different word.
A plus symbol in front of a word in a search means that word is required so curly +perm will return only results that have some form of perm in them and will prefer ones that have curly, also. +curly +perm results must have both words though not necessarily next to each other.
A minus sign means do not include the following word in results so perm -curly would return results that matched perm but would not include ones that also had curly.
Quotes around a phrase will search for an exact match, but will still ignore case. "curly perm" will match Curly perm and lots of variations but both words in that order must be present.
Comments are regarded by search as part of the post.
The sidebars allow you to restrict searches to posts that match various criteria, like type of post, audience rating or authorship. At the top right is a sidebar that allows you to control how the search indexer orders results.
When we upgrade to Drupal 7, this will all change a bit but not drastically.
You can use this thread to ask questions and make comments about search.
A group of people wake up in a video game world and are forced to work together to survive and find out how to escape.
Artemis completes the mission with the help of an ‘ally?’
Chapter 15 Recap.
It hesitates, its tone softening even more. “I want what you want, Artemis,” it says. “To survive to thrive. To protect those you care about. But to do that, we need, each other.”
As the filming of John's first film role draws near, he struggles to achieve what's
expected of him and self doubt becomes a huge problem for our young actress.
Also, the day of his SRS approaches and that fills him with apprehension as well.
This is not the easy, happy-go-lightly life of a young, successful actress that
he had expected.
It was a simple plan, one that would get Princess Kerialla out of something she really didn't want to do, and give her handmaiden a chance to experience what it was like to be Princess. What could possibly go wrong?
Well, there were these two strange fellows, see; and they...
I always have trouble with synopses - self-promotion makes me a bit uncomfortable, I guess. Also, just because I wrote something, doesn't really mean I can talk about it. So just go read it, and see for yourself. Erin says it is too long, and I can't disagree, but it's only 22,499 words. OK, that is kind of long, but still it can't hurt - much.
I will warn you that, although this is a fantasy site, this is not really a fantasy. It is, however, very much about fantasies. (And that includes some of my own, like the one where I'm a writer.)
I owe all the gratitude I can express, and more, to Kristina L.S. for multiple beta-reads, much excellent advice (not all heeded, but that's my fault.), and a great deal of encouragement (and handholding.); and to Amelia R, who proofread this on too short notice. (My list of credits may grow, but the blame remains all mine.)
What is with Sandy? Sandy seems none too thrilled with Em at the moment. Is it justified? Will Em survive what is happening between them?
Rhod/Em is trying hard to keep from being found out by Rachael, the ballet dance instructor. Rachael is still wondering why Em can't do the moves most women can easly do. Will she find out about Em?
Em is also worried about her date with a boy later in the day. How will she cope with that? She didn't want to go out on this date in the first place, which Mary is pushing her to be beautiful and sexy for.
Chris now realized that it was going to take more than just a casual effort to resurrect Christina Chase. It had been foolish to think he could just throw on some old clothes and hop on a bus. It was going to take planned and determined effort. He was going to work on being Christina every day until the end result was flawless. He decided on a few steps early on. First, he was going on a diet. Chris had always been tall and thin, but he wasn't going to take any chances. From now on, it was salad for lunch. Secondly, he was going to change his workouts. He hadn't spent much time exercising, but after his experience in Oak Grove, he'd tried some weight lifting. That was over. He was switching to aerobics or Yoga.
This is the follow-on from Kristina L S's story that no-one wanted to finish where it was. I just hope I've done it justice. Oh and sorry for the typo KRISTINA!
For those of you who didn't read the first part, I suggest you do that before copping a load of this one. Anyway, Bill has now to attend the dinner at the posh restaurant...
Thanks to Kris for okaying this and giving me the chance, oh, and the proofreading/embellishments!

This is another of those fictional stories and no chance was this real.
It’s about time I got to the heart of the matter to explain about Jacob and his father and some of the reasons why the man is such a pain in the backside. For this I am going to use an old technique and a bit of a mouldy one (giggles)
Part 3
When Jacob woke the following morning he looked around the strange bedroom and remembered the day before. He was still suffering from the blow to his head and he groaned as he also remembered what he had said to the adults.
Jason’s return party was, Abner thought, sizzling. At an
easy two meters, Jason himself wasn’t hard to spot towering
over the gaggle of adoring females clustered around him. It wasn’t
just the height; the easy and overpowering masculinity that radiated
almost unconsciously from his direction was an irresistible chick
magnet.
When this started, it was late August 2005 and I was Barry Nardella, a stockbroker living alone on Long Island, NY in my co-op bachelor pad. I was making tons of money, but not satisfied with my life.
Thursday June 29 8:18pm Reynolds Quarantine Medical Center:
“What’s his condition doctor?” Colonel Jordon asked as he looked at the unconscious form of Major Brady through the four inch thick glass of the quarantine cell.
“I suppose, Colonel that would depend on your point of view.” Dr Stanly answered with what sounded like a small amount of amusement in her voice.
“Madam, I have neither the time for games, nor for a glib attitude.”
Chris' transition back to his old life hadn't been easy. After only a week in Oak Grove, he'd become accustomed to a slower, more relaxed way of life. Though he didn't know many people in the small town, it hadn't taken him long to recognize the familiar cast of characters on Main Street. His days had been filled with the company of his family or the friendly human interaction of working in the grocery store.
This rambling little thingie inspired by various 'conversations', readings and general musings over recent months.
The letter? Oh yeah, that's in there somewhere.
A long while ago, I was thinking about what my life might be like if I started living as a female. I wondered how others might react. Would I find the people in my life being supportive of my decision? Would I stand alone? These and similar questions constantly haunted me.
During that time, I had composed several songs; this is one of them. Actually, I envisioned this as more of a music video. I lost my original copy and had to rewrite it, adding bits here and there. For the most part, the three parts of this song at the end are as I had originally written them.
I woke up gradually, coming out of a fog of discordant dreams. Dreams that I was a boy masquerading as a girl just so that I could get a job! It was obviously a dream because reality wasn’t that stupid.
A young man after accidentally damaged the window of a shop he runs. He
accepts a lift from a woman and his life undergoes a lot of changes. He
realises that things were out of his hands and he found that times a
change of perspective is a good thing.
Part One: The Beginning
Robert was disgusted at the world; Mrs. Riley his landlady had just
thrown him out. She was not usually so forceful in her behaviour; she
had just barred the door to him. He had spent the last four hours
touring the dirty populated streets wondering what he was going to do
Alex finishes his first night as a catering assistant, as Michelle.
The next task is to tell Jocelyn...
This is the last outing for Alex for the time being, but I'm sure he'll grow; people always do, whether you want them to or not.
I know I say something like this every time, but big up to Kristina LS for her help as always and hugs for stopping it from all going Pete Tong on me.

This is a work of fiction and if you haven't figured that out yet, where ya been?
Any similarities between person living or dead would be... well you know the rest.

"Mr. Grove your three o'clock is here." The voice of David Grove's secretary came through the inter-office communications.
'My three o'clock?' Wondered David. He knew he had no three o'clock. Just in case, he brought up his daily calendar, and sure enough he had no appointments for the rest of the day.
There is nothing overtly inappropriate in this story. However, due to some elements of it, this chapter may be difficult emotionally for some readers. I wish to apologize in advance for any discomfort experienced by the readers as a result of this, but hope you will agree that it is important enough to the story that it needed to be included.
Harkness Holdings had just posted another astounding quarterly earnings statement that left Wall Street analysts breathless with excitement. The chattering financial commentators were agog. Forbes, Fortune, The Wall Street Journal were all touting the quarter-by-quarter meteoric rise of Beauregard “Beau” Chadsworth, Harkness’ CEO, and his team who’d taken the moribund company and pushed it to the heights of Wall Street stardom. Harkness’ share prices reflected the unbounded confidence of investors big and small. From the get-rich-quick types to the most cautious investors, Harness was what they all wanted.
Beau Chadsworth was the darling of the talk show hosts who outdid one another in their fawning praise. In the post-Enron scandal era, Harkness was basking in its squeaky clean image. And Chadsworth, for his part was all becoming modesty. He was quick to point to the success and support of his team, Jack Levin the COO and Bridget O’Leary the CFO and their subordinates. Then there was the Chadsworth Foundation, already being talked about in the same breath as Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, so recently bolstered by the largess of Warren Buffett.
All was golden in the second and third quarters of 2006. Or so it seemed.
Young Kyle struggles to make it through the school day without being noticed, but others intend to make him the center of attention. A beautiful coming of age story with a difference. Now available to borrow from Kindle Select for Kindle Prime members.
Angelique is back. Along with assorted ancient gods and goddesses, a plot to unseat Lucifer from the throne of Hell, and a lot of other fascinating things. She always seems to get the 'interesting' jobs.
