A friendly place to read, write and discuss Transgender Fiction.
Home of 3000+ chapters of Easy as Falling off a Bike by Angharad and many other stories.
I'm going to use this as a place to discuss search, how to use it and what people want to use it for.
A few things:
When you use multiple words in a search, the default is to perform an OR search. Searching for curly perm will turn up both curly and perm and will list first results that have both terms.
Searches are case insensitive. Perm, perm and PERM are all the same.
Searches are made for roots, so perm, perms, permed and perming are all the same. But permanent is a different word.
A plus symbol in front of a word in a search means that word is required so curly +perm will return only results that have some form of perm in them and will prefer ones that have curly, also. +curly +perm results must have both words though not necessarily next to each other.
A minus sign means do not include the following word in results so perm -curly would return results that matched perm but would not include ones that also had curly.
Quotes around a phrase will search for an exact match, but will still ignore case. "curly perm" will match Curly perm and lots of variations but both words in that order must be present.
Comments are regarded by search as part of the post.
The sidebars allow you to restrict searches to posts that match various criteria, like type of post, audience rating or authorship. At the top right is a sidebar that allows you to control how the search indexer orders results.
When we upgrade to Drupal 7, this will all change a bit but not drastically.
You can use this thread to ask questions and make comments about search.
I am so, so, so happy that Hunter touched so many hearts. Thank you all for reading
and for so many comments and emails. I really enjoyed these characters and I'm so
happy that you did, too. Please stay well! See you all next time!
Stevie finds himself exploring more and more of his feminine side as he settles into
his sister's home and begins caring for her family. Thank you to everyone who
commented on the first installment. I do love knowing that you are all well and
hearing from you. I appreciate your support. A word or warning, though - I do try
to explore the feelings, emotions and motivations of my characters and that
requires using words.
The drive home was quiet, the tension in the car palpable. David leaned against the window, watching the familiar streets roll by, but his thoughts were far from comforting. The doctor’s words echoed in his mind, and though his parents tried to keep the conversation light, the weight of the unknown loomed over them.
Adrenaline surged...daring every sensory organ in my body to absorb the tiniest nuances of my first day out in public dressed as a woman. I touched the velvety skin on my wife's arm. "I'm so lucky!"
"Lucky?" Nicole shook her head in obvious bewilderment. "You've always wanted to be a woman," she had accurately said nearly eight months ago.
My goal, by the way, is that when people get to the end of the story, they'll understand evrything by then, and won't have to be confused anymore -- honest! Hope you all enjoy!
Family Tragedies and Secrets
Part 08 by Edeyn Hannah Blackeney
A meeting with Lady Katrina where men are discussed. Ann's final confrontation, and a new beginning. New demands on the consort. A terrible secret revealed.
The only thing I excelled at turned out to be thinking. I was able to read before I was two and could do college level trigonometry problems by the time I was seven. I was so far ahead of other kids my age that my parents got permission to home school me. I completed all of the requirements for graduation from High School by the time I was eight and got my first college degree; a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, when I was ten. I was twelve years old when I started helping dad test and debug software for the company he owned.
Ketrick becomes a consort. Learning to be a lady. Merton emerges into a very new world. Ketrick makes a surprising admission. Will Ann's lack of imagination doom her to slavery?
Escaped from Prince Fallan on Darson, Sascha finds himself struggling to understand and survive in the universe into which he has been thrust. It will take all of his skills, both those of a Sylph and those of a Shootist, to overcome the challenges in his path.
Tyra faces the Lords and changes the valley's future. Lady Katrina makes a proposal. Ketrick returns as Tyra's consort. Merton's time as a man comes to a close.
Can Joan survive the bus ride home? Will Aunt Melissa be forced to swim back to Brisbane? Joan discovers that having friends has its downside too. (sorry about the synopsis: i was feeling quite silly this morning!)
Christina got up early, long before the rest of the family and was already dressed and downstairs before the sun had come up. Deciding that she was going to be the first girl in the house to make wearing pants a habit, she had thrown on a pair of capri pants and a simple off the shoulder top. She went into the kitchen and put on an apron; the plan was to surprise her uncle with breakfast before he went to work. Christina had seen very little of Alek this visit, and she longed to spend some time with her uncle.
Synopsis: Brenda begins to uncover some pieces of the puzzle from the office gossip during Cheryl's last day. What she didnt count on was Mario's eyes latching onto her and the danger lurking within their midst...
Dear readers, as I write along my plotline, this originally conceived minor scene became a major one, justifying a chapter - at least to me. I am experimenting here at BC and looking for reader feed-back.
Therefore, I am going ahead and posting it as is. This is a little side step in Julian's way. I fully intend on concluding the series in ten or fewer chapters. Chapter III concludes the introductory portion of the story. I have made small factual changes to the first two chapters as I moved along to be consistent with details.
I see the plot unfolding! The temptation is going to be great to post more than one part per day, but I'll endeavour my hardiest to resist. Just a hint for one of the Pop Culture references... Detective Kerry Warner has a younger brother and an even younger sister. Okay, enjoy, folkses!
Family Tragedies and Secrets
Part 05 by Edeyn Hannah Blackeney
A decisive meeting at in a pleasant glade where Thermin discovers his true nature. The clean-up in Batuk starts poorly. A reunion in Eagles ends with a change of perspective. (Violence, blood, and serum girls)
Lieutenant Ivar Bandle daily regretted the contract that lured Dawson's Bunch to the planet of Darson. Now his platoon finally had a mission to be something other than a glorified security guards. However, all is not as it seems and soon he, his men and a sylph named Sascha are on the run. All that is left for them is to march or die.
Note: Story has not changed since it was posted during the Stardust Anniversary Science Fiction Contest.
Finally a few of the plot threads are poking their heads above the water in this one. Thanks for being so patient, folks! I think I'm enjoying this one
Family Tragedies and Secrets
Part 03 by Edeyn Hannah Blackeney
A man reflects on his transsexual father just after the father's funeral.
Note: Rated X because of references to, not actual, pedophile stories.
The funeral is over and I'm sitting Shiva for a wonderful woman who was my father. I pull out a print of an email many years ago from a close friend of my father and the note that friend had sent with the email. The email was a chat-log between that friend some others and my father. In the log was the first indication I knew of that my father was transsexual.
Tonight after reading the rather awesome Sk8r Grrls story I was reading through some of my own fiction, and came across a passage in 'The Beauty Soap' (I'd link but my own site is being redeveloped and I can't find it here :S) which wonders if the shop has started using subliminals. This story came of that. It probably isn't that great as i knocked it out in two hours or so, and proofed it myself. Any errors are therefor my own. Without further ado...
The High Priest is shown a long-lost edict. The right to a consort is tested. Ketrick's time in Batuk begins to show results. Thermin and Tyra come to uneasy alliance.
This story didn't arrive fully formed in my head like Sk8r Grrls. Instead I got brief flashes of scenes. Then, I thought about it, and that works. So... this story will be a lot darker than Sk8r Grrls. The "Blurred for Plot" tag is because I don't want to give away some of the bigger plot twists by assigning genre
Family Tragedies and Secrets
Part 01 by Edeyn Hannah Blackeney
Men: can't be a slave with 'em, can't stay free without 'em. Ketrick rides to Batuk, or the death of a warrior. Help in desperate times comes from Wanda and a Forest girl from days gone by. The Librarian's troubles are revealed, and a long-dead queen provides a key to Tyra's future.
Recently, my unpredictable muse presented me with an interesting concept for an action/adventure type story. I came up with a really neat title image, got a first scene, then ... nothing. Well, not actually nothing. I do have a feel for where the story might go and a vague idea of whodunnit, but no real story. I'm hoping someone else might see what I have so far and maybe have some suggestions on how to get from here to the end of the story. Here's to hoping!
Angelique is coming into her own, which involves lascivious dwarves, an amorous angel, and a hellhound or two. Things get complicated but it's not her fault, she's sexy, hot as hell, and inclined to violence as the solution to certain problems. Maybe it comes from being half-succubus and half-hellmaid?
