Medical Center, Napa Valley Recovery Center:
“How are they, Dr. Quinn?” Ms. Carrot was worried about Thomas and Christen.

“One of Mrs. Blake’s children is adopting her. Because of how smart she is, she needed a family that knows what it is like. So, Lisa Blake and her husband, Jake Hom, are adopting her. Mrs. Blake’s husband owns a chain of Chinese food restaurants.” Mrs. Quinn has visited one of Jake’s restaurants.

“That’s good. I wonder where Angie is going?” Ms. Carrot was concerned about all her girls.

“She’s been adopted by one of Mrs. Wolfhart’s children. Tony and his husband, Ivy, adopted her.”

“Aren’t they a mixed couple?” Ms. Carrot didn’t know them.

“Yep, Tony is white and takes after his father. Former military and works for NCIS. His husband, Ivy, is a SWAT officer in Hollywood.” Dr. Quinn had met both men and liked them.

“She’s going to be very protective, plus being Mrs. Wolfhart’s grandchild, she’ll have additional protection.” Ms. Carrot knew the Wolfharts looked after their children and grandchildren.

“Mrs. Blake said you were very protective of these girls.” Dr. Quinn looks at Ms. Carrot when she says that.

“I can’t help it. These girls mean a lot to me.” Ms. Carrot was glad each girl was being taken care of.
