The next story I'm going to share with you was told to me by Junior Scoutmaster Emma Jeanette Pierce. I'm also going to confess I went a little overboard with the name of the story. I don't apologize for it at all though, mostly because it conjures up perfectly the vibe I want to capture with these stories.

As Tom drove us back to my house, I realised that the policewoman had tricked Stella into coming out pretending I’d been taken ill and needed to go home. I kept up the act of not being well until we got home.

Chapter Four: MORFS gets really personal
The next thing I knew, I was waking up in the hospital. Doctor Mary Jacobson was examining me.
"So, Howard... got tired of studying MORFS from the outside, eh?"

Chapter One: The Beginning
How did it happen? That's the burning question, I'm sure. All you adults who ran the gauntlet of puberty and came out unfazed now have something to worry about -- or maybe not.
Drew stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom; it was still a bit misted up despite his opening the window a little. He gazed at his body and felt sad. He’d been out for a training ride, but had forgotten to fill his water bottle, so had to stop and buy some from a village shop. His mind drifted back to the event.
"Granny, Granny, please tell us a story! Pretty please, Granny!" said nine year old Linda as she sat on the floor with her twin sister Julia.
They had on matching sky blue blouses and navy blue skorts which each had embroidered a red rose with green stem and leaves as well as the first initial of their name. They both looked precious in their white knee socks and black Mary Jane's. Each of them looked intently at me with their deep blue eyes, resisting the temptation to twirl their long blonde hair in their fingers, since they loved my stories.
Before I could answer, Julia burst out, "Tell us a new one, Granny! Pretty, please!"
