A friendly place to read, write and discuss Transgender Fiction.
Home of 3000+ chapters of Easy as Falling off a Bike by Angharad and many other stories.
I'm going to use this as a place to discuss search, how to use it and what people want to use it for.
A few things:
When you use multiple words in a search, the default is to perform an OR search. Searching for curly perm will turn up both curly and perm and will list first results that have both terms.
Searches are case insensitive. Perm, perm and PERM are all the same.
Searches are made for roots, so perm, perms, permed and perming are all the same. But permanent is a different word.
A plus symbol in front of a word in a search means that word is required so curly +perm will return only results that have some form of perm in them and will prefer ones that have curly, also. +curly +perm results must have both words though not necessarily next to each other.
A minus sign means do not include the following word in results so perm -curly would return results that matched perm but would not include ones that also had curly.
Quotes around a phrase will search for an exact match, but will still ignore case. "curly perm" will match Curly perm and lots of variations but both words in that order must be present.
Comments are regarded by search as part of the post.
The sidebars allow you to restrict searches to posts that match various criteria, like type of post, audience rating or authorship. At the top right is a sidebar that allows you to control how the search indexer orders results.
When we upgrade to Drupal 7, this will all change a bit but not drastically.
You can use this thread to ask questions and make comments about search.
Crazy Core Gym, Upper East Side, New York:
Teela and Emily arrive at the address they were given. They looked at the building in front of them and couldn’t believe that it used to be some sort of warehouse.
“Are you sure you have the right address, Teela?” Emily looks at her friend.
“I’m sure. This is the address Jester gave me. She also gave me the entrance code as well.” Teela walked into the small foyer and noticed there was a metal keypad with black numbers and letters.
In this chapter, Emily navigates a day filled with grief and reflection as she bids farewell to her mother. Amidst the weight of the occasion, small moments of kindness and support from those around her offer glimpses of comfort and strength, helping her take the first steps toward healing.
After his mother dies the only option Kris has is to take his kid sisters to grandma's house. But Massachusetts to Maryland is a long way to travel on only $50. How will they make it, will grandma be able to keep them and what kind of life can they expect?
Daniel Henderson has managed to beat the odds and been accepted into Kingston Academy, one of the best private high schools in the country. However, when Daniel is invited to take part in a special program, he learns that there's more to the school than he had thought...
NOTE: This story is loosely -- as in VERY loosely -- based on the manga/anime "Princess Princess." After the initial concept, any similarities are mostly coincidental, unless they aren't. (Puzzle that out why don't ya.)
A cautionary tale about the hidden dangers of trying to trick a mutt into becoming a pet using lies and betrayal. Inspired by The Samantha Project, this is a story about a different family with similar goals ... and a very different protagonist.
I woke up in bed with a pounding headache. It was obvious where I was–in the medical centre with that beep, beep, beep, of the monitors telling me that I hadn’t died and gone to heaven or hell yet...
What can I say to that? Is there anything I can say to that? And really despite everything I’ve been through, I’m still just a kid. I’m barely seventeen years old so what in my life even gets me close to have and answer to this?
Theo could hear the grunts of David, Beth and her Mom as the officers loaded them into the carrier. The door slammed shut and the transport fired up and followed it's trail to wherever it was going.
Dr. Damon Zeul was only trying to create something that would benefit mankind. Little did he realize his work was really going to benefit Lex Luthor! Shot and left for dead, he recovers, only to discover his life would never be the same again.

After a few moments, the tension had completely dissipated, leaving both women relaxed and with their guards completely down. Dana put her head back on the headrest and breathed out a relaxed sigh. Persis looked at her and burst into tears. Dana turned her head and smile and said softly,
"It's okay...I understand." She bit her lip and tears came to her eyes.
"This was fun...and sweet and wonderful and special...but I know this was...you know...us helping each other." She shook her head slightly and continued, but in a softer, sadder tone.
"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to be so selfish...and I'm presuming too much. You were so kind and tender. I can't expect you to know how much that meant. I didn't want to put anything on you, but you've been so...nice to me since we met."
It was one of those time moves so slowly moments. Tay had told me he was falling in love with me and honestly I was falling in love with him too. How couldn’t I right? He had been a stand up guy ever since I met him, and when I met him I was so low that I was really considering killing myself.
Julia and Alcina have been hijacked by Amanda, GenTech's Security Chief Dick Styles, and his thugs. Sydney is hot on their scent, but they are armed and ruthless and she ...isn't. And if she can't stop them before they destroy Julia's mind, bye bye Project Y. And if Project Y fails, how much longer can humanity survive?
A RELUCTANT SPIRIT: Vengeful Spirit
By Ingrid Halb
My fifth story, in which we meet Larry, a small-minded cubicle dweller bent on payback for every imagined wrong with a particular grudge against his supervisor. Not an unusual character, and one that can be found in many office buildings across the land. But Larry has a certain vessel that can conjure a three-foot tall enabler of wishes. Now what was it that they call payback again?
Twelve-year-old Stephanie Brooks used to be an eleven-year-old boy who didn’t mind his parents. When they punished him for peeking at his Christmas presents by making him dress in girls’ clothes, she became more comfortable with herself and turned into a responsible, considerate girl with a much sunnier disposition. In this episode, Stephanie starts attending her new school, a liberal institution with an unorthodox approach that just might be what our girl needs. As we begin, it is Monday, February 4, 2008.
(After far too long, the author has found enough free time to release an update, and she promises to try to do better next time.)
Ryan pried open his heavy lids. His vision was blurred as he tried to focus his sight. Blinking several times and rubbing his eyes, he found his surroundings slowly come into sharpness. Oh, it felt like he had been hit by a truck. His whole body ached. His thoughts were a little confused as he tried to think about what had happened to him to cause such soreness. Suddenly it snapped! His first fever had hit...he quickly sat up and surveyed his body. Oh crap! He wasn't ready for this.
I woke up early Alison was still holding me close I watched her sleep for a bit then kissed her softly. She woke up and smiled at me.
“Morning Nicole did you have a good sleep?” she asked me smiling at me
“Yes I did cuddling with you all night. I think the pill’s effect wore off” I said still unsure if I wanted to be Nicole again.
“Thank you I loved having a girl friend I’ll put some leos and pills in your back pack just in case you want to be Nicole again okay?” Alison said cuddling me.
I have no idea how long I slept. I remember Taylor shaking me and it was still dark. He made me sip something with really sweet molasses like flavor and lots of stuff like cinnamon and ginger in it, it made my throat tickle and made my cough a bit.
Danny's Perdition: It’s the 24th century and Danny has discovered that his work for the government has several times condemned people to termination. The newest suspect has been thoroughly transformed by a department called “Visual Perfection,” and now Danny must do his duty, once again. Would traveling across the continent in an antique machine offer a realistic alternative?
Also included A Dollar Short: Tilford has a dead-end job. The idea that someone would offer him a great position seems alien.
