Chapter 75 Final Chapter.

I didn’t know what else to say except ‘What happened, what’s wrong, why are you here?’

‘Chrissy I’m sorry but Jessica, Sally and Mary Jo were on the way to a restaurant and they were involved in an accident on the motorway. A van was speeding to try to overtake them and seems to have hit them and knocked them into another vehicle and then they skidded out of control and ended up in the ditch.’

‘My God. Are the badly hurt?’

“I'll be lucky if my father even attends. He doesn't have much time for those of us who didn't inherit his power. But my brothers and my cousins on my mother's side will be there, they're fun to be with, and some of our neighbors I know well... and my sister. You'll like her; she's pretty.”

Chapter 3
By

Sally Crewe

I am becoming infatuated by Chrissy and I can’t stop thinking about him/her. I don’t feel so lonely and frightened anymore and my feelings of depression have almost gone.

I went to see my doctor yesterday and she suggested that I change my medication and that I might be able to come off it altogether soon. I talked to her about Chrissy and she was quite surprised and asked about him/her and if he/she was having treatment or seeing her doctor and was pleased to hear that she was.

Chapter 6

I blink several times trying to make sure where I’m at is really where I’m at. Brandy’s looking at me and comes over and kneels down and she slowly unbends my fingers from the frame of the bed. “Maddie…Maddie…” It still hasn’t hit me that it’s over.

I’m shaking and shivering actually and my head is pounding. I think I’m crying a little too.
“Maddie honey what’s wrong are you hurt?” I’m just not in that place were talking works and I shake my head no. I try to get it out.

Well, we are back home. Mom somehow found us, and told us to come home. We did, lacking anywhere else to go. I hope things are going to be alright. I feel so helpless.

*****

Its kinda funny around here now. Its like we all made this unspoken agreement to not mention what happened, but to go on as though life was perfectly normal. My step-dad actually seems a little wary of my brother, so maybe that’s what we’ve needed to do all along - kick his butt, and then he’d leave us alone.

“We need to get going. Troy will be checking out here shortly.” Maggie said, moving the chair past Mary Beth.

The young girl began walking with them. “Are you going to be in school Monday?”

“Maybe. It depends on how I feel by then.” Tracy replied.

“So what happened?” The girl asked again.

“I'd rather not talk about it. It's kinda personal.” Tracy said.

“So it's true? Bruce cut your...well you know, your thingy off.” She blushed as she said it.

Tracy's cheeks went just as red. “Who said that?” She asked.

“I heard it someplace.” The girl replied as she looked to the floor.

Maggie chuckled. “No, he didn't cut it off. If he had, Troy would be dead.”
