The door to the house slammed against the door stop as a very dirty and sweat soaked I entered my house. It had been a long day. I had dirt under my grub tshirt and even into my sport bra. Working on old cars, doing minor repairs to major restoration work was not the cleanest job. It was a part time job that paid much needed cash. My nails were always ruined and the few small nicks in my skin here and there didn't exactly give a flawless skin complexion.

Ben tried to pull away from Emily but, she was holding him fairly tight. “Umm, can you let me go?”

Someone came into the store, Emily quickly backed up but it was too late.

“Uhh, Hello?” Ben said feeling his face turn scarlet. Worse luck, it was a regular customer and someone from school as well.

Randy came right up to the counter. “Glad I didn’t make that bet.” He said smiling

“What bet?” Ben asked automatically, thinking 'really?! Out of all the bloody people who shopped here the ONE person who shopped here regularly AND went to his school showed up.'

All started by a nigth event organized by a couple of friends for a costumed party with " you and its opposite".

being a male with some fantoms, I choose to transform me in femme while my wife, who's quite discrete choose to fake a Lady Gaga style.

John awoke at first light, as the fingers of light started to spread across the sky. All the others were asleep, apart from one warrior on watch. He was quite pleased to be awake, as he had been plagued by bad dreams all night. He shook his head, as the last memories filtered away, much to his relief.

In the end we took up one corner of the bar at the Sun, as James made his way directly to Darren. Some connection had clearly formed between them, and James seemed to bloom each time they met. What was important, though, was that some of the openness clung to him afterwards. I rarely saw him now in lockdown, hardly ever saw his hands shutting off the world beyond his face.

“Thank you very much,” said Cassandra as she took the slip of paper from the doctor.

As we walked towards the exit Carole made a call on his cell phone to ask his driver to pick us up and he took my carry-on bag with the other hand. I hitched my purse strap onto my shoulder and tried to walk with small steps one in front of the other which meant I was almost running to match his long stride.

"Jessie?" I know that voice.

"James?" hope beyond hope.

"Yes Jessie its me."came the gentle reply of my former dormmate.

I got up and looked for him. There was James Patterson just in the entrance of my prison cell. I ran to him and clutched him like a liferaft of hope.

I’m still emotional as I lay there and try to let things matriculate with everything that happened. I slip my shoes off and actually just roll a little more on the bed and take one of my pillows and I hug it hard.

Yes I’m letting myself be Angel…so I hug my pillow and put my face into it and lay there replaying aside from the two goons…one of the best moments of my life. It’s so good some parts have me in tears.

“I want to pick up some aromatherapy candles,” Mom replied, rubbing her protruding belly lightly. “I should have known better than to marry a martial arts instructor,” she added, as we walked out to the parking lot.

She giggled. “Because I think one of your siblings just roundhouse kicked my bladder. You go on ahead. I need to go to the bathroom again.”

CHAPTER 11
That struck home, clearly, and after yet more repairs we made our way back to the others. Will looked up at me, an eyebrow raised, and I nodded.

“Your mam wants to say a few things, son”

A lone figure approaches the door to her house.

Jingle jingle...clash..jingle and the door to the house opens. Immediatly the kitty cat who had been waiting patiently for her Mommy to come home starts in on her. Mew mew mew mew mew.

"Sorry sweetie mummy just got home." A few pets and little Pepper purrs in contentment all is well and Mommy is well trained.

Tanya thinks her cat is a little too overbearing as she removes the cat treat from the fridge and puts Pepper's preferred amount into a clean bowl. Cats are not picky no way!
