A Bun in the Oven - Final Chapter

It was almost midday before they left the motel. Stevie had to do her male act all over again, in order to pay for the petrol at the adjoining filling station, and then they headed straight to the university, where Stevie found the cash machine and used Leonard's card to withdraw the maximum the machine would allow.

'We don't know how long you're going to have to remain Liz,' she explained, handing over the money to her.

Because it was 5:57 AM and It's Valentines Day.

Because it was 4:57 AM and It’s Valentines Day.

All night really, I though about her.
She’s just “That Girl”.
Y’know that one.
The One.

She Loves Football.
I can take it or leave it.
But I love that she loves it.
I can see the cheerleader there inside.
She cheers me on.

There when I get home, smiling and loving me through the screen.
I can feel that y’know.
It just one of those things that just is.
She sends me out with love and luck and dreamy kisses every night.
We dance too.
We have songs.
And a play list.

She loves her family.
Even when she hates her family.

March 30, 2011; 2:30 PM:

“Thom...” the Chief began, his face solemn, “Sorry... Officer O’Meara. Your previous partner didn’t make it. Nor her new partner. Both died from inhaling too much of the nerve poison. They died while in the ambulance.” The chief of police betrayed absolutely no emotion, his entire body a rigid mask.

The Crossdresser and the Model

I originally wrote this for storysite and decided to amend some errors. The original Story changed immensely and is told from a different point of view other than first person

Two boys discover they are more alike but never had let the other know. One boy is model of feminine attire the other boy just enjoys dressing as a girl and unsure of herself when she begins to find her friend very attractive.

Too Little, Too Late? 60

CHAPTER 60.
And so it went. I got up, I shaved as well as I could, Larinda did what she could to make the best of my face, I went to work, I got abused or not as the day passed, and a few kids would point in the street. There seemed to be some sort of armed truce in the office, where I had some true friends that I had always recognised as such, and to my gratified surprise quite a few more that I hadn’t spotted.

The General’s Daughter Part 2

The General's Daughter.jpg

Part Two begins with our heroine leaving the gathering at the family farm after receiving a startling offer and returning to her mountain hideout to something even more startling. Due to that terrible and never to be sufficiently damned author and her penchant for reading stories instead of writing them, it has been a while between chapters so I would recommend a refresher but I swear the next ones will be coming on a more or less weekly basis going forward.

Part V - At the hospital.

Gloria and Mandy just made it to the hospital as the paramedics were taking Ruth in to the Emergency Room entrance. They parked in the ER parking lot, and went in and talked to the receptionist. They were told to have a seat, because the doctor may want to talk to them.

They sat down in the small waiting area, you so commonly see in Emergency Rooms. It seemed to take forever, but then a young nurse came out and called for "family" of Ruth Watkins.

When Nick tries to find a date on the internet he gets more than he bargained for.

Please note that I am writing this as a form of fiction , understand that if some of the things written down here are unrealistic, they are meant to be. Throw away all thoughts of logic because there is no logic to many dating sites, this story will reflect that. Please note that time is illogical on them as well; so too in this story.

Indestructible

“Steve Austin, astronaut, a man barely alive...”

You can blame my grandfather for the fact I know that line. Its from a TV show from the dark ages called “The Six Million Dollar Man.” He likes to tell me he worked on the show.

Over and over again.

Somehow, he ended up with a lot of memorabilia from it too. A whole pile of props, mostly examples of the “bionic” parts. He also has copies of all the scripts, and worst of all, copies of film he er... liberated from the set.

March 30, 2011; 3:00 AM:

“It looks like they’re starting to come to.” came a disembodied voice, as my groggy mind started to clear. I opened my eyes, and tried reaching for my service weapon, only it wasn’t there, and a searing pain shot through my head, sharpest at the two points at the ends of my optic nerves. I fell back... into a bed?

Part III - Shopping.

The next morning, Sandi was up before Renée was, and didn't let her sleep.

"Wake up, sleepyhead, we're going shopping today, and we need to get going. Go take your bath."

Too Little, Too Late? 59

CHAPTER 59
That was the start of so much, that lunchtime, and for the rest of the day, and about the next fortnight, I endured the steady flow of colleagues past and into my room under a variety of excuses who wished to see the freak. Nine Days’ Wonder is the phrase, and that was what I felt, and once nine days were up I hoped to be allowed to settle down and get on with it. The next hurdle to present itself was my first control visit.

Wild Magic 21

I guess I wasn’t feeling so hot when I picked Debbie up at her house, and she quickly picked up on that.

“Are you all right, Em? You seem very...distant, almost upset. Did I piss you off somehow? If so, I apologize, but please talk to me, please?”

“Oh honey, it’s not you. I just got some interesting news last night, and I’m not sure how I want to handle it.”

“Is there anything I can do to help, somehow?”

“I honestly don’t know, Deb. Mom and I were doing some testing to find out where my affinities lay, and, well...”

The Girl Inside

The Girl Inside
By Julie D Cole

As I looked into the mirror it gave me quite a fright,
I’m getting old, an aging man and it’s not a pretty sight.
My hair is limp my face is drawn and as I took a look down there,
Where’s it gone, it’s hard to say, with all this body hair.

I stood and stared for ages, not a pretty sight at all,
Reflecting on my life so far, then at a picture on the wall,
A woman in her prime of life, her beauty plain to see,
A picture taken years ago, Mmm was that really me?

Part II - Dinner at the Richards house (cont.)

"Well, I think it is nice to have someone her own age helping her. Sandi, I taught you makeup and hair styling when you were nine and wanted to know why I was putting makeup on to go work. I think this is going to be a wonderful opportunity for the both of you. Sandi, why don't you take Renée to her room. I want to talk to her parents for a bit."

"Come, Renée, the adults want to be alone." There were giggles and laughter from everybody.

Cider Without Roses 16

CHAPTER 16
“Maman! What am I to wear today? Can I not wear the same dress as yesterday? Elle has not seen it!”

My mother’s voice came up the stairs. “Margot has”

“Yes, but she will not---oh, my mother! You have, have you not?”

“I have done what, my sweet?”

“Asked them both back for the evening!”

A Change in Lifestyle chapter 13

Chapter 13

I picked up a bra and pantie set and was looking at the price when an a
ssistant asked if she could help. ‘What size are you looking for Madam. Can I help you.’
‘I had absolutely no idea.’

Part Five: Golden Slumbers

Once there was a way,
To get back homeward.

A figure stood over the girl who lay sleeping on the bed. She sang a wordless song that seemed to bless the girl as she slept; not so much sleeping as languishing in a stupor from little food and way too much Jim Beam.

“I’m so sorry, but it’s going to be okay.” The woman knelt down and leaned against the bed, almost prayerful, but with a fear she didn’t wish the girl to know. She looked up and mouthed the words again, this time in silence,

“I’m sorry.”

Part I - Meeting Renée.

It is a weird thing, what we call life. I mean, you go through the motions of existence because the name of the game is survival. But what about those that are just going through the motions and really have no concern for their survival?

A Mother's Love

A Mother’s Love

By TG Bear

Chapter One

“Mom, what are you doing here?”
“You wanted to talk Robert. So, I’m here.”
“Am I doing the right thing?"
"That’s a simple question with a very complex answer. And I’m not sure I have the right answer.”
“That doesn’t matter, as much as you’re letting me talk about it.”
“Then, why don’t you know this is the right thing?"
"I... look, I’m your son. But... I should have been your daughter. I know it my heart and mind, I’m a woman. That, this way, I’m living a lie.”
