CHAPTER 23
I wish I had known those people years before, or people like them, who could have brought my parents out of the pit along with me. What I was learning, in the end, was that it wasn’t about individuals as such but about a way of thinking. We had English, Welsh and French there, all together and smiling. It sort of flew in the face of so much of my experience of policing, and then another thought struck me, no doubt triggered by the kids in wheelchairs and leg braces we had just shared dinner with.

Sorry for the delay in posting. Lost my Mojo. Yep. Fell for a girl, and then I was abandoned. She took my Mojo with her. So I had to grow my Mojo from a tiny seedling all over again.
I'm joking. I've just been flat out with life, and with trying to figure out the rest of the book.

Chapter Twelve: The Last Ride

The final chapter in this saga. Cassie has to return to Diego Martinez house to wrap up the FBI case against the Cartel as FBI decides to wrap up the Biker Bitch operation.

There is no way to argue with Mother Nature (an ecologist).

Everyone knows that Betelgeuse will soon go supernova. Less and less immigrants go to the planet Betelgeuse VII, the economy remains on the line of stability and the newly elected dictator, Caligula XV, guarantees to the people that, before the star will die, everyone will have time to relocate to the newly terraformed planet Betelgeuse S, which is safe.

Synopsis

Interpol working with a multinational taskforce of Anti-Organised crime agencies is closing in on Mario Di Michele and his ‘Ndrangheta crime family, His father, uncles and his three brothers and two sisters have been arrested or killed. He is a wanted man in North America, Europe and Latin America. There seems to be only one way to evade capture or certain death and it is by being true to his nature.

"How did we do today?" asked the older man, Joe
His son, John looked up from counting the cash from their usual Saturday market stall where they sold eggs that came from their smallholding.

"About a hundred down on last month," replied John with a hint of sadness in his voice.

"That's two weeks in a row. Any ideas why?"

John knew the answer bit his father might not appreciate the answer. After a moment's hesitation, he decided to tell him.
"Isn't it a bit obvious?"

Joe looked at his son for a second then he realised what his son was hinting at.

In fact most parents believe that an alarm clock needs to have the most obnoxious noise imaginable set at maximum volume to even begin to be effective at wakening a sleeping teen, that or any Brass Monkey tune will suffice.

Cassie reaches a compromise with Jill Saint John and the Sisters of Satan but not all of the members agree to the proposed changes. Cassie finds herself back where her story began whilst taking a detour on the long ride home.

"Look in case you have forgotten I have er..plumbing issues." well it wasn't like I could come out and say I was a guy. Though why nobody seemed to see that was a puzzle. Then again I do look a little too much like Ari in the face. But I do have a guy's body.. mostly... Okay so the stick on breasts would fool most guys.
