Today was Monday, and that meant it was seven days till the annual 'Summer Carnival' a school-wide celebration that would mark the end of the school year. The dark, stormy days of exam's had passed. I was feeling pretty good about my chances of passing. The week of exams had been like passing through the seven rings of hell. Despite having endured the riggers of exams, and to be honest that had pushed me to my limits. But, somehow I had survived the whole ordeal.

I was going to make this a short-short like the other two, but I kept coming up with fun things to add. So now, along with getting to find out what happened to Dirk after his three year participation in the Earth's water cycle, we see what Marvin has done with his time.

Scrolling through her messages, I saw that this wasn’t the first such text. Her replies were equally as intimate. Sandra hadn't said anything to me about seeing Tom regularly again outside the office.

CHAPTER 15 - Once you’ve hit rock bottom there’s only one place you can go, and that’s up

"Tell me more about this motel. The last time I looked getting hired requires ID and a social security card."

Beth announced, "From what I hear, that is not a problem. The motel is known for hiring undocumented Latinos. With your swarthy skin coloring, you would blend right in; the manager won’t ask many questions. He is just interested in cheap labor."

Chapter Six – The Verdict

Adele's case takes one final twist before the judge hands it to the jury for a verdict but it's after the verdict is rendered that the truth is revealed. It will be left for the reader to decide the true verdict.

It was the first Halloween I was allowed to go trick or treating without my brother. I was going with a number of my school friends and one of their mother's so mom thought it would be ok. Andy had a new part-time job after school and couldn't get off until late. He blamed himself for everything that happened.

“Robin, have you any plans for today” asked my Mam.
