I'm going to use this as a place to discuss search, how to use it and what people want to use it for.
A few things:
When you use multiple words in a search, the default is to perform an OR search. Searching for curly perm will turn up both curly and perm and will list first results that have both terms.
Searches are case insensitive. Perm, perm and PERM are all the same.
Searches are made for roots, so perm, perms, permed and perming are all the same. But permanent is a different word.
A plus symbol in front of a word in a search means that word is required so curly +perm will return only results that have some form of perm in them and will prefer ones that have curly, also. +curly +perm results must have both words though not necessarily next to each other.
A minus sign means do not include the following word in results so perm -curly would return results that matched perm but would not include ones that also had curly.
Quotes around a phrase will search for an exact match, but will still ignore case. "curly perm" will match Curly perm and lots of variations but both words in that order must be present.
Comments are regarded by search as part of the post.
The sidebars allow you to restrict searches to posts that match various criteria, like type of post, audience rating or authorship. At the top right is a sidebar that allows you to control how the search indexer orders results.
When we upgrade to Drupal 7, this will all change a bit but not drastically.
You can use this thread to ask questions and make comments about search.
The transformation is complete and William is headed into the biggest
meeting of his career, wearing a suit that is tailored very differently
than the ones he usually wears. His change in wardrobe and persona force
both William and Kateri to reevaluate everything about themselves and
their relationship.
In this, the story finale, Quinn needs more help than he can imagine and
finds more than he ever expected. I cannot thank you all enough for
sticking with this series. Your comments, emails and general support has
been inspiring. I hope you enjoy this chapter, the series finale.
Vic Peltior and her partner only want to get on with their lives. Unfortunately for them, there are people who want them to do -- or be -- something else.

Sataria’s Encampment, South Pacific Island:
Three shadowy figures use the night to their advantage as they move throughout the night quietly killing people. The people they killed didn’t stand a chance against them. Any magical wards that might have alerted the guards to their presence were deactivated with just a thought.
Harry thought he was just making a little joke, but the women in the office weren't laughing.
So they made a little bet and Harry would win if he followed the women's dress code for a month.
How hard could it be?

On the way home we went to the university, where I checked up on my babies. Spike seemed happy to see me, or maybe it was the brazil nut she nibbled while I held her. I was pretty sure she was pregnant again, so she was making her regular contribution to the captive breeding programme.
She ran through the alley with abandon. The heels didn’t slow her down she was a great athlete. She hopped the fence without hesitation, which was pretty impressive for a girl in a mini skirt. Up the back stairs of the apartment she dashed two steps at a time. She was sure that she was safe and that she had lost her pursuers. She had successfully run for her life.
I pulled her close and kissed the top of her ear, pushing ever-so-slightly through her upswept hair. I leaned back and looked into her eyes, the world outside of those amazing eyes ceased to exist and I knew just how lucky I was. She was the one that Mom had always told me I'd find one day. That I'd know the girl that would be tied to me as surely as the sky is tied to the horizon as soon as I looked her in the eye for real.

part: 311
We all spent a very difficult night, when sleep came, it was fitful and anything but refreshing. I awoke once crying, don't ask me why, I can't remember what I was dreaming about, but I assume Stella may have been involved in it.
"At a mere 28 years old, Sanura Miller is now an esteemed Doctor specializing in the new field of Elementology and Operator of the National MORFS Elemental Registry Database. Dr. Miller has taken it upon herself to help police the Elementals of the world. These are her case files."
Jeremiah was always a little different. He tried to fit in, but never quite managed. It wasn't until around his 16th birthday that he actually realized the problem, and Mia was born. Mia is a story of transition, of new beginnings and familiar pains. With support from her Mom, and her best friend Mia is growing into the woman that she always should have been.
"Max had always loved superheroes and comic books, so when MORFS spread last year he thought it could be cool. His parents, along with pretty much everyone else was afraid of what was happening. So what will Max do when he undergoes MORFS while his parents are out of town?"
Laura is still stuggling with her new gender and although she has started to assert herself it is now causing tension with her Mother. She meets another new kid at school and makes a friend, but this new friend just brings up even more issues for Laura to deal with.

part 309.
After dinner, I shut the last item in the dishwasher and sunk into the chair. Ever since the incident in the supermarket, Stella had hovered around me, like a giant mosquito. It was getting on my nerves and I was desperately trying not to say anything I'd regret.
It's a whole new life for Dane now that he's a cheerleader, but can he deal with the emotional strain of leading a double life? With a little help from his friends, and a bit of his own patented good/bad luck, anything is possible!
This chapter deals with dark subject matters some may find disturbing. I intended to write this story with Alicia/Heidi getting the chance to pay back her family herself. There is also a murder committed.
Note from the author, When I am writing from Heidi’s family’s POV, I referred to her as Alicia since they didn’t get the news that she changed her name to Heidi.
I awoke with a start, Stella was hanging on to me like a limpet with fingers, it was actually hurting me. She was whimpering too, and as hot as a furnace, my back was sweltering and my nightdress was sticking to my sweaty skin.
Cathy always tries to mind her business, unfortunately business doesn't give her the same respect. In fact it goes out of its way to send a fresh helping of drama her way in the shape of a three-year-old force of nature named Jemima.
Can she really help the girl, save the dormice and look after her nearest and dearest all at the same time?
