The Interview — Part II

I sat in the kitchen, after getting home. I made myself a cup of tea, and just thought about what had happened today. I applied for work as a waitress, dressed as a woman. The manager liked my attitude and hired me, telling me I start in the morning. Since I started at six A.M., I went in my bedroom, and set my alarm clock. Then I took out my uniform from the package, and put it on the back of my chair, very neatly, so as not to wrinkle it.

The first of (hopefully) many. This will be infrequently updated -- randomly, even. There will not be numbered parts as I don't intend to go in any sort of order. So, when there are enough to add to a "Book Outline" I'll put them in there in vaguely an order that makes sense to me and explain it then.

My eyes were straining to stay open as I tried to play the last game of solitaire. I really had to go back to the hotel to sleep and I had to drive there to do it. If I got any more dozy, I was in danger of having an accident. I glanced at my watch, it was after ten, the nurse must have forgotten I was there.
