I'm going to use this as a place to discuss search, how to use it and what people want to use it for.
A few things:
When you use multiple words in a search, the default is to perform an OR search. Searching for curly perm will turn up both curly and perm and will list first results that have both terms.
Searches are case insensitive. Perm, perm and PERM are all the same.
Searches are made for roots, so perm, perms, permed and perming are all the same. But permanent is a different word.
A plus symbol in front of a word in a search means that word is required so curly +perm will return only results that have some form of perm in them and will prefer ones that have curly, also. +curly +perm results must have both words though not necessarily next to each other.
A minus sign means do not include the following word in results so perm -curly would return results that matched perm but would not include ones that also had curly.
Quotes around a phrase will search for an exact match, but will still ignore case. "curly perm" will match Curly perm and lots of variations but both words in that order must be present.
Comments are regarded by search as part of the post.
The sidebars allow you to restrict searches to posts that match various criteria, like type of post, audience rating or authorship. At the top right is a sidebar that allows you to control how the search indexer orders results.
When we upgrade to Drupal 7, this will all change a bit but not drastically.
You can use this thread to ask questions and make comments about search.
The transformation is complete and William is headed into the biggest
meeting of his career, wearing a suit that is tailored very differently
than the ones he usually wears. His change in wardrobe and persona force
both William and Kateri to reevaluate everything about themselves and
their relationship.
In this, the story finale, Quinn needs more help than he can imagine and
finds more than he ever expected. I cannot thank you all enough for
sticking with this series. Your comments, emails and general support has
been inspiring. I hope you enjoy this chapter, the series finale.
Vic Peltior and her partner only want to get on with their lives. Unfortunately for them, there are people who want them to do -- or be -- something else.

Sataria’s Encampment, South Pacific Island:
Three shadowy figures use the night to their advantage as they move throughout the night quietly killing people. The people they killed didn’t stand a chance against them. Any magical wards that might have alerted the guards to their presence were deactivated with just a thought.
Evelyn Evell’s shopping mall complex hides a sinister plan for worldwide domination and the unwilling forced feminization of every man on Earth. Can Stark and a group of unexpected allies redefine the phrase “hostile takeover?”
Bobbie Schmedlap, Cindy’s best friend, is quick to diagnose Cindy’s problem. As we have seen before, Bobbie can detect physical problems in some people, and she quickly diagnoses Cindy’s ‘problem’. She is happy for her friend, but Cindy is not happy at all about the pending event. She is having serious doubts about her role, and the nightmare of the night before was an expression of that doubt. Now is the time for her mother to be there. Bobbie and Maddy help, too.
Okay, so he didn't have to get me drunk.
Here I was sprawled on top of a mink coat naked on top of his classic Rolls Royce that he only drove on special occasions. I was holding Pandora, the cat, next to my chest to hide the lack of breasts.
My package, lets just say it was hidden underneath and on top of the mink. No one could tell I wasn't really a woman.
"We're almost done," said Robert, a professional photographer friend of Frank's.
"So where will this one hang, Frank?" Robert asked.
"I was thinking maybe the den Bob," he said with a chuckle.
Once back at the conference room, Nora goes to the safe for our typed notes, the pink tablets and my conclusions tablet. When she returns we begin again, still looking through the information for the elusive answer we need to identify the country which could be behind this. I’m beginning to think I won’t have the answer before the General returns. Nora has to leave; she’s scheduled to watch the desk while Jenny has lunch, so I continue the search on my own for the moment.
The cadets see their professor beam onto her dais in the newly built lecture hall just before she glances around at all the second year and a few enterprising first year academy cadets arrayed in the few hundred seats surrounding her. Her eyes taking in the few empty seats scattered here and there throughout the hall. More than she expected. The male cadets appreciating her Academy issue uniform showing her long legs and many female cadets glad she is not their age and competing for the same males whenever time allows.

Growing up isn’t easy for anyone, and certainly Cynthia Lewis is no exception. The hormones are starting to flow in greater quantities than they ever have before. Suddenly, the doubts that had been hiding in the depths of her mind are beginning to surface. Menarche is pending, and Cindy is beginning to think that she doesn’t have what it takes to be a woman. She is suddenly very afraid.
I used to know my name
But I've lost control of the game
'Cause even though I set the rules
You've got me acting like a fool
When I see you I lose my cool
Lust to love
Was the last thing I was dreaming of
And now all I want is just to love
Lust turned to love
Becky Waters was a wise woman. She hired me twice at Grande Illusions, once as 19-year-old college sophomore. The other as a person in his 30s who was down on his luck.
She knew the man making the proposal.
Frank Cignetti was a respected business man in the community. His wife, Marie, was also well respected, too.
"From everything I'm told, he really doted on his wife," she said.
She reminded me of the long hours at the club, although she told me she hated to lose me.
What happens when a male, Navy combat pilot, trades in his helmet, flight suit, and flying boots for heels, hose, and a little black dress? Well, this is Andy’s story as personally told to me by her many years later.
Nora looks like she’s nervous and continues to look around at the lithographs on the walls and the tables covered with tablecloths with silverware instead of flatware, and china cups, saucers and plates.
I ask, “Just a little ostentatious, isn’t it, General?”
He looks a little apologetic, but explains, “We frequently have congressmen here, or out of country leaders of one kind or another. It wouldn’t do to take them down to the cafeteria. Then too, this room is shielded and swept for bugs and it has jamming equipment built in to prevent electronic eavesdropping, so we can discuss classified material here.”
He gestures to what looks like small air-conditioning ducts or hi-fi speakers above each table. “Each table has it’s own sonic generator above the table throwing a curtain of white noise around the table and its occupants. It isn’t 100% effective, probably closer to 20% or 30% for each table, but by the time the conversation makes its way out through one and in through another it tends to muddy up the conversations enough that nearby diners inside their generator’s influence can’t understand conversations next to them which occur at normal levels. Of course if one were to yell then that would overpower the measures taken. We just learn to talk quietly in here, so the odds are much more in the favor of secrecy.”
“Impressive, Sir.” Now that I’m concentrating, I can hear a slight whooshing sound, like the sound made by the air nozzles above the passenger seats on a commercial airliner, or maybe a radio tuned between stations, pure static. Hmmm.
Mistakes can happen at the North Pole too. Damn computers!
Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Any and all references to names, products, toys, persons, etc. are entirely the work of my demented imagination. This is also set in the same plane (universe) as Bobby and Bethany. For lack of a better term, I'll call it the CarlaVerse for now
No toys were injured or kept up past their bedtimes in the making of this story.
I was an occasional cross dresser. My wife caught me.
She was very much upset. Our marriage went downhill from that point.
Little did I know that she had planned it.
I am sure if you are reading this, then you have enjoyed some of the Big Closet stories. Well my tale started when my wife and I were surfing and came across the site, just following links and curious to see what is out there, but we returned to it on a few occasions and read some quite interesting pieces.
To be honest we got lucky, we read the brief intros and found ones that did not offend us very often. There are some sad people and some others who really should be looking for help if there lives or fantasises are really as told.
Pat, Sam, and Barbara form a highly malleable triangle. Fate steps in, and a small, not very happy boy becomes a pioneer. Will Pat even recognize himself when his destiny is complete?
A tale about deception in the 1950's advertising jungle. Imagine that!
