Horses for Courses
My thanks to the most beaudacious Gabi for staying up late yesterday to edit this–even though it didn’t matter because she was able to slob out all day today.
Some while ago there was a news story about a marriage divorce happening, the cause adultery, but the man had never meet his mistress. They meet online in a comunnity called Second Life. The wife was given her divorce.
"What was I doing?" I looked at myself in the bedroom mirror. "What have I done?" It was as if I had woke up from a dream where I had no control over what had occurred in the dream and then realized it was not a dream at all. I am a man or at least I was at one point. I sat down on the bed and began to go back through my life to try to find something to hold on to before I went out of my mind.
Events conspire against a successful young woman with a dark painful past. She is forced to confront her frightening past that she has been running away from her whole adult life.
Immediately after Missii and Kayla have gone through the link to Scearnvale, Andrew closes the link and thinks back to the armor he purchased from Master Carlaine's. ‘The sisters should do all right. If they purchase everything at once to save money then they will come back and ask for perhaps three hundred or so more.' Nodding his head, he turns his concentration toward the children and the lessons to be achieved today.
So, here we are moving to a small town in Ohio. None of us seemed to want to make the move. Having grown up in the South, Ohio sounded like a foreign country. The long trip up there did give me a lot of time to think. I would not know anybody but, at the same time, nobody would know me either. That meant that no one would know about my girlish past. This would be the perfect time to prove to my dad that I could be the boy he wanted. I resolved to try my best to ‘boy up’.
When I woke up, it was already after twelve. I got up, and got out my clothes for the day. I went in and started my bath. Cindy was over, and when she heard me in the bathroom, she came out of Bobbie's room and talked to me.
"Hey sleepyhead, it's about time you woke up. How do you feel?"
"I feel okay. I was just drained yesterday for some reason. How is Angie doing?"
"Angie's fine. She's downstairs with mom having a popsicle."
Well, finally! Expect to see these released on about a weekly schedule. Ish.
I had intended to do six parts in this story arc, and I'm already up to seven and
only about two-thirds through... This short part is a sort of memory-refresher,
so you don't have to go back and read all the previous parts. Not that I'm stopping you...
