"Granny, Granny, please tell us a story! Pretty please, Granny!" said nine year old Linda as she sat on the floor with her twin sister Julia.
They had on matching sky blue blouses and navy blue skorts which each had embroidered a red rose with green stem and leaves as well as the first initial of their name. They both looked precious in their white knee socks and black Mary Jane's. Each of them looked intently at me with their deep blue eyes, resisting the temptation to twirl their long blonde hair in their fingers, since they loved my stories.
Before I could answer, Julia burst out, "Tell us a new one, Granny! Pretty, please!"
On the outskirts of the city at Rogers Hall Dr Eva Delving sat behind her desk looking at a bank of monitors. Her face drawn in its permanent scowl, Miss Francis stood behind her looking at the monitors showing the wing where their victims/subjects were housed. The two of them were looking at one feed in particular and Eva was almost growling.
“Well Danine seems this one is a lot tougher to break?” Eva pointed at the screen.
When I arrived at the moon base, I went directly to Coop’s office. He was alone and looked concerned.
“What’s up, Coop?”
“I just had an interesting conversation with the council. They told me you are now in charge. I’m fine with that. My problem is that they seem to think that we have a military.”
“Ms Simpson would you please come in?”
The tall slim woman who was leafing through a woman’s periodical put it down, stood up and after picking up her handbag she went through the door into the doctors consulting room.
The doctor, who was also a woman, closed the door behind them.
“Please take a seat” said the doctor.
I long to wake up in the morning and find everything has changed
When Tanner said this evening would be ‘a little dryer’ he certainly was not speaking of the liqueurs. “I don’t believe I’ve seen so many soused people at one gathering before. It’s a wonder they accomplish anything at this dinner.”
Alex left and that leaves me staring at that girl in the mirror. That girl from the picture he drew of me that he said was what he seen. I’m sitting there for a long time actually. I can’t get it out of my head for like hours. It just kind of sits there inside of that mess of me that’s me but, I’ve no idea exactly how I really feel.
Actually I kind of do. I know, I really have a real strong knowledge of being all fucked up.
Catwoman acts as protector of children and finds some disturbing realities. Things only get worse the deeper into the investigation she goes. A simple thief, not any more. A Mercenary? Maybe if someone were paying her bill. Story threads start weaving together.
Without a trace part 10: operation flytrap continued....
Whilst Mom and kylie talked Jan and her partner were talking to the young female officer. They gently probed for the reasons why she had tried to attack the young girl.
Author's note: This piece is the most disturbing thing I have ever written. It might be the most disturbing piece on this site that doesn't have any hard language or violence. Please take care reading.

. Chapter 21
Robert Shannon noted marked differences in his children when they visited him in New York. He saw how Jun seemed to grow almost every time she was there. She had caught up with Robbie and she was a full year younger than him. He noticed changes in his son, too, but something just wasn't right.
A strangely-dressed person is found, unconscious, on the rocks
below a remote mountain road. When the stranger recovers it soon
becomes apparent that nothing will ever be the same again...

I'm trying to take in what the Tacoma is telling me. For me, in my reality, Barack Obama is President of the United States and Sarah Palin isn't princess of anything except, maybe, FOX television. Sarah Palin was John McCain's running mate for Vice President against Obama. Palin is a television commentator, not ruler of Earth.
My name is Thomas Blake. I used to believe in good and evil. But as time went on, I could no longer tell the difference between light and shadow: everything had become shades of grey. It wasn't until I had lost everything that I learned how to live again.
