Synopsis:   After being assaulted by her Uncle James, Jessica was left battered and bruised. The worst part though was the emotional damage that occurred from the assault which left her plagued by nightmares. Jessica planned on spending the weekend camping with her friends, but there was a part of her that just wanted to stay home and hide from the world.

In the end she decided to join her friends, and the weekend turned out to be one she would never forget. There are still forces that are working in the background and their purpose hasn’t become clear. What does Rocco have in store for Jessica, and who killed James Roberts?

She’s well ahead of me as I’m trying to wrap my head around that last part. Thief? Shaya?

“Hey! Waitaminute!” I head up the stairs after her and she’s laughing and she does that elfin light-footed thing up the stairs like they’re not really there. Me I’m in better shape and with having two legs now it’s still a luxury to me but I can’t keep up. “Shaya!”

…It was 7:10 and I had a surprise visitor, Matt Petersen had come to see me with Brianna. He was taken back both by how Bri reacted to me and how much of a girl I was. He shared, “Where is the troublesome boy?”…
Jeff is here and neither he nor I are angels.” Bri gave me a hug saying “Angel.” I could not help but cry…
… if I went to stay with the Petersens it was to stay as Jessie and for now to be their foster child. I would need to visit with her regularly and they wanted me on a hormone blocker for one month.

Landon St. Pierre looked at Songbird of the Ark Angels and rubbed at the fur on his face. “You’re kidding me right?”

She shook her head. “No, we’re dead serious about this Landon we want you and we need you and we can pardon you and get you out of here.”

“But teaching?”

“Yes teaching, I know you’ve been in the life a long time since your mutation kicked in pretty much and but you have real skills that we need.”

“Like?”

“It was not Forgeron, but I do believe they may be acquainted. They are from the same part of the city”

“So what must I do?”

She smiled at me, a little sadly, I thought. “Nothing, my sweet. The Directorate of the school, as well as the Mairie, are fully aware of your…situation. The law is the law, and this is France, and it is the law that we follow, no?”

Chapter 6

After lying on my bed for a few minutes, I decided to explore my new bedroom.

I walked over to the vanity and gazed at the vast area of make-up and perfumes on the top. The cushion of the white chair was a very pale lilac, fitting in with the overall color scheme of the room.

As I dried myself off, but having to keep on my knickers, I found a quiet spot to try to get some privacy away from the frivolity and the banter that was going on between the girls. It wasn’t easy to avoid them since they were running around by now armed with wet towels that they were using to flick each other. It was amazing to see so much nudity and none of the girls had any shyness or concerns about showing everything in front of me.

Taylor looked and in its original box was a Stacie doll, his blue eyes went wide at the sight, “Oh oh .. um.” was all he could get out.

Natalie giggled a little, completely misreading Taylor’s shock. “I know it’s not much, but ever since they brought you in we’ve all kind of been praying for you. It’s, um... Well, it’s kinda a miracle you’re even alive right now.” She trailed off for a moment then smiled, carefully setting a fresh glass of water well within the girl’s reach and range of motion.

Fresh tears ran down Taylor’s face, “You all are nice, thank you.”
