Kindle books price change

Good news. I changed the price on my two e-books down to $2.99 so people who are in a bit of a budget crunch can be able to buy them. I know times are tough and the holidays are upon us. I would lower the price of the print book, but I can't. You can only go so low with paper. Anyway, I'm hard at work on the next novel and will be back to posting other stories on the site soon. But, until then, enjoy what I have up or buy a book. I could still use a few reviews for Growing Up Jenny and as soon as Wren is done editing... I will make Finding Jenny available.

A British on-line e-pub site anyone?

I wonder whether there are any peeps out there who have published through Amazon's Kindle facility only to discover that because they are British citizens, they have become subject to a 30% withholding of royalties because of American tax laws - the bastards!

Yes you can be reimbursed, but not before you jump through hoops and pay some exorbitant amount to legal notaries in order to prove that you're not some tax-dodging Yank out to save the few measly bucks you've made from selling your e-book on-line.

Sandy, Stories, and life

So I thought I'd give an update because SOME members of BCTS are in NJ and were in the path of Hurricane/super storm Sandy at the end of October. Personally, although portions of the town are devastated/condemned (the sub shop that has been where it is for over 40 years as well as the fishery are either gone or condemned), had major property damage, or will be without power for a while (probably the next town over).

Speaking for us old people.

OK people, I can see an issue surfacing here. Lately there seems to be many more stories involving a culture that I am particularly ignorant of. I've never done any video games, unless Flight Simulator counts. And, I never did any role playing or comic books. I don't even have TV or cable.

So what some of you new authors are dealing with here is your grandma. So, I think a little more explanation and descriptiveness is in order if you want me, or any of us olds to read your stories.

From what I can gather in the stories I have read, the writing is nice.

A thank you to BCTS Users

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say Thank You, to all the members here that have taken the time to read my first story, and have either left me Comments, or Kudos. It really does mean alot to me. It also helps in keeping motivated to continue writing.

So Thank you all again.

Hugs.

Leaving comments on stories and responding to them -

Although I read quite a few stories on the site and usually award kudos (if I make it to the end of a story), I am not very good at leaving comments behind. For some reason I can never think of anything pithy, friendly and worthwhile to say; but this doesn't mean that I have not enjoyed reading them.

My Second Story

Wow, my second story is receiving many more reads, comments, and kudos than the first - way more. It makes me very happy, as I do feel that Duchess is a better story than Grace in some ways.

At least, it seems to flow better, to me. And, writing it is going much smoother as well. Sure, I had a background hearing all of the bigoted crap that was in Grace, but that does not mean I enjoyed writing it!

Writing Future

Well now that I've posted the first part of 'Destiny: Legacy of a Spellbinder' I thought I'd pop in and tell folks about my upcoming projects. I've started up on a sequel to Hunger Pangs which I've tentatively titled 'Appetite for Seduction'. I have written much of anything in the last few days, but I'm at around 4000 words.

Lack of production

I'd like to apologize to my readers. Due to my hard drive dying last week, losing all the data on it, having to get another hard drive installed, reinstall everything, working out details for the separation and eventual divorce, and with getting my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday, dealing with the migraines from that, the lack of painkillers and life just generally kicking the crap out of me the past week the next chapters of Bloodlines and Trial and Heiress will be unavoidably delayed. I am working on them, but as hard as it is to focus right now it is slow going.

Woah!

In the last seven days I have posted six things. Two Kit and Kin, two Transitioning Home, one 300 Rains and one Chalice and the Wand. Tomorrow there will be another Transitioning Home. That is a lot of stuff in a week folks. I hope you are enjoying the variety and the speed because at some point my hands are going to fall off.

I need to get back to work on Kit and Kin 13, which I already have stuff on and the rest of my unfinished projects. I am trying to clear out my backlog so I have nothing hanging over me when I start the next Tegan book.

Still need reviews for Growing Up Jenny

I have left Growing Up Jenny on the site in order to get some reviews on Amazon. I know that you had to have at least made one purchase on the site to leave a review. But, if you already got that far and already read the book on this site (or if you haven't, why not do it now, it's going to be removed Jan. 1st) why not leave a review. It helps drive traffic to my book and I haven't sold one yet this month :( (makes me a sad panda).

No stories from me this week

I'm sorry, I am just overloaded. I have to finish 2 edits, and 1 of them is huge and takes too much time. I don't do shoddy work, so I have to concentrate on these stories. As soon as I finish, I'll go back to writing.

GBTC Pulled

I pulled God Bless the Child from the site like I said I was going to. I hope no one is upset at me, but I did feel it was necessary since I am selling it as an ebook. I did leave the comments in place instead of unpublishing it, because I like have the discussions available for future generations.

OMG! I'm so behind in....

My reading! Where do all these wonderfull stories come from? Such imagination you'll possess. Please forgive me if it takes a while to get through them. I'll try to leave comments as much as possible,'cause I think far to many don't take the time to do that, and please keep up the nice work! (Hugs) Taarpa

Stolen Innocence

Hi everyone. Well, I am back with another story offering called “Stolen Innocence”. This is a story that involves many characters, but the primary character is a young boy that runs from an abusive situation and finds himself trapped in a world of greed, power and manipulation. He finds his life spiraling out of his control from people that prey upon his emotional weaknesses and his overwhelming desire to find acceptance.

Help with stories.....

I am trying to find some one who can help edit my stores. One sister said she wold do it but I know she is not in good health and well my stories are out there. I have read every thing out there on arcane esoteric subjects religion forbidden archeology other worlds dimensions quantum physics plus sci fi fantasy. Take the Evanescence 'Verse DarkRealms Universe Fresh Start and lets say new age esoteric spirituality and other Daoine Sidhee (farie) ufo worlds and put them in to a blender... A lot was written in my journals in the 1970s 1980s and now in present day time.

why is femboy so popular

I have written a few stories now, some get limited success, have early high hits and then tail off, one or two have kept on being popular slowly accumulating several thousand hits, which is nice to see. But Femboy has just gone through 11,000, many more than any of my other stories. What is different about this one?
Any ideas why?

Last week of God Bless the Child

I have generously left God Bless the Child available even though I have it available as an E-book on the various sites (I prefer Amazon). I will be pulling it down next Monday, though plan on leaving the comments in place. I just want to give everyone an opportunity to read it again, if such is your desire. Also, I wouldn't mind some more reviews on Amazon (or sales for that matter). I will follow the same plan for Growing Up Jenny and Finding Jenny. I don't want to seem unfair, but I am rethinking my position in life.

Busy Day

I have a busy day ahead of me, our cycling club has its AGM this morning and guess who's secretary? Hopefully, I've prepared for everything except the unexpected. So that's the morning fully occupied trying to take minutes and then make sense of them afterwards. I won't be in the tight skirt and blouse traditional of office wear - can't ride a bike in them.

Then, we usually go for a ride in the afternoon stopping for lunch at a pub.

My Latest Story

In case anyone hasn't noticed....my latest story has been deleted. This wasn't an accident. In a moment of clarity today, I realized that it just wasn't right. There was something about it that really bothered me so I deleted it myself. I'm not sure if I'll put it back up as it was or change it...there was just something about it that rubbed me the wrong way I guess.

In other news I think I know what I want to write next...its just trying to find the time to write it. The next couple of weeks are going to be busy for me...lots of good games coming out to play lol.

Another Amazon/Kindle book I'd recommend to our authors

I'm sorry I didn't begin to read this book and highlight it while it was free from the Kindle Buffet a couple of days ago.

Just a reminder...

Just a reminder, that if you comment from tomorrow on I will not be able to reply until Sunday afternoon. And then fyi... I will be hyperfocused on finishing my paper, so I figured you might want to know that. Tuesday there will be an update, I think. Just fyi...

Writing Future

After giving it a lot of thought I've decided to take a little break from writing stories in the DRU---that's not to say I might not drop in a chapter or two of To Dance With The Devil as the weeks go on but it might be a long while before that particular story is finished. I'm not really sure what I want to do in its palce but I've been getting some good advice from a lot of people---I want to thank everyone for that :)

I'll keep you all updated as soon as I figure out what my next story might be :)

God Bless the Child now a book book

Just to let everyone know, God Bless the Child is now available in paperback. It did take forever and a day to get it available from createspace, but that might have been me. I still have no reviews for Growing Up Jenny :( I know I had tons of people read it and would really appreciate a review. My goal is to always get to 10 (I only have 9 on GBTC which is :( ) Anyway, you can view my author page on amazon at http://www.amazon.com/K.T.-Leone/e/B009HL529W/ref=ntt_athr_d... take a gander.
