A little introduction

I wanted to introduce myself with a blog. My name is Aoife (ee-fuh), or at the very least it is here, lol, I've been a long time lurker, only recently deciding to come out of hiding and finally connect with you awesome people. Like most of you I am always having these creative muses that take over my mind from time to time, and try as I might, they eventually build up and explode out of my mind like a volcano.

A letter to my wife

Hi
This is the exact letter I wrote to my wife. After over 20 years together she walked in while I was on the toilet wearing bright pink silk panties. She had left for work and returned fast to tell me something. When she walked in I pulled my pants up as high as I could to hide my panties. She asked what was going on and I said nothing. She did not ask again but I knew she would. I so much wanted to be honest with her. That day I wrote this letter and gave it to her (we work at the same company). She read it and gave it back.

Here is my letter to her exactly as written:

Bailey (The Name)

Got to wondering about this while reading here recently.

Anybody know how the first name 'Bailey' got its relatively recent start? The U.S. 'baby names' site (http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/) shows it reaching the top 1000 girls' names in 1983 and peaking in the 1990's. It shows up as a boys' name in 1993.

(Only Bailey that I was aware of growing up was a male pro basketball player named Bailey Howell, born (according to Wikipedia) in 1937.)

Daddy's Gift

Daddys Gift - Book cover image Daddy’s Gift
by Vanessa Danville

I helped him with his shoes then held his little light blue jacket open for him and watched as he slid his arms into the sleeves, as I zipped it up the Hello Kitty logo on the chest of the jacket seemed to wink at me. It looked like it might rain so I pulled his hood up then lead him outside.

It was just a 10 minute drive so we only got to listen to a couple of Disney songs before we turned the car into Auntie Karen’s street and then pulled up outside.

I lead him up the path with a nervous knot in my stomach, were either of us really ready for such a drastic change?

Bible and organised religions views on cross dressing.

Whether you pay any heed to it or not, the bible comments on homosexuality. I was wondering if there are any specific references to cross dressing in there as well.
There cannot be, I would imagine, any mention of gender reassignment surgery as it probably could not have been envisioned during those early days in the development of our medical kowledge. However crossdressing was, if the literature is to be believed, not unheard of, and seems to have been a feature in many and varied cultures and eras.

That is the way the Cookies crumbles.

I know it has been mentioned at least once. But, here in California one of the supposed more foreword thinking areas of the USA. Unfortunately this is not true, and her parent may have affected her opinions of a person her has never seen in the flesh according to the sources I have read and the videos I have seen both in her favor and against the views he has taken. There is Girl Scout who is trying to under mine the organization of girl scouting.

Stormy Night

It was dark:30 and raining pretty hard and I was, headed home while going around a corner I noticed this person standing along side the road, so I pulled over and asked if they wanted a ride, turns out to be a young lady crying and Really upset. So she got in,while asking her where she was going, so she said East of Johnsburg, So I said I was going that way and would take her home. would of anyway for it was stormy night, not fit for any living thing, besides it was against the code not to help someone in need.

Texan Schools

Lots of stories here feature school life in the USA. I read this article this morning which describes a school life so alien from my own, very long distant, school days here in the English NE Midlands. It reads so much like some fantastic dystopia that I can't help but feel that it's distorting the reality. I'd be interested in reading comments from our US friends to gain a little perspective.

Seattle Gal Part 1

SEATTLE GAL
Chapter 1
The Return Of Jessica

by Susan Jean Charles

He lost everything, but she gained so much more

A little over a year ago, Lauran published a story entitled, “Son” about how a widowed father and his son became a mother and daughter. The story ended just as the mother began living full-time with a man she’d first met while she was experimenting with being a woman.

I enjoyed the story, but wondered what happened afterwards. How does a man used to working full-time, providing for, and making decisions for himself and his son, adjust to living as a woman totally dependent on her man?

‘Seattle Gal’ began as my attempt to explore this question. But soon Jessica’s decisions and their consequences took over the story. Further along, a throwaway character opened her mouth and my story went in an entirely new direction.

While there is some explicit sex in the story, at its heart it is a romance. I’ll warn readers of the sections containing explicit scenes.

While many of the places in the story are real, none of the characters are and any resemblance to actual people, living or dead, is entirely coincidental. Several products and names that appear in the story are trademarked and I used them to provide color, background and authenticity. No infringement is intended. My only intent is to present a good story.

“Seattle Gal” is already completed, so readers will get to read the entire story in several segments. My great thanks to Holly H. Hart, who is so valuable in both editing and in providing much extra information that has helped make the story so much better. I’ve learned so much working with her!

Accessing BC

I occasionally find that BC is either very slow to respond or not available at all. For example, last night about 1 am BST I couldn't get on at all and the site timed out. It can be often slow to get to the main page but moving within the site can be reasonably fast. Last night it meant I didn't get my 'Bike' bedtime story :(

Light a candle for your lost

A Taste of herb on your mouth whisks away

Sucking in visions and blowing out memories

Roll over to see your panda bear

A possible breathing lump of plush and air

Looking for help

After several years of reading on the site, I decided to join and try my hand at a story. I didn't want to start posting it until it was completely finished as I have been disappointed in the past by following several parts of a story only to have it disappear. So I kept prodding along and suddenly I had an 80,000+ word novel on my hands.

The Girl Inside The Boy : Prologue

The Girl Inside The Boy

Carla

Prologue

It was back in nineteen fifty when my mother went into labour on a sheep station in outback Australia, where the only medical help was from the flying doctor service. The pilot had engine trouble and had to land a hundred miles away at another station, and by the time the doctor and nurse arrived by four wheel drive four hours later, my sister had died and I was to face life with half of my soul missing.

Healing Both Mind and Body

Healing Both Mind and Body

by Torrey Grover

Our heroine tells a story of violent abuse, recovery, and reconciliation, and finally looks forward to her future. This story combines real events, ideas, and people (names altered) with imagination to create a work of transgender fiction. If the abuse seems unrealistic to you, google 'John Daniel Kingston' plus beating, and read the newspaper accounts.

Chris in hiding

If this has any relevence to anyone you know or have seen, it was coincidental. This is my first story, so please judge how good I did.

Transsexual in Hiding

Hey everyone! Here's my first post to topshelf and I just wanted to make it short.

The first line to this poem has been bouncing around my head for a few days and I just decided to go with the flow and see where it left me.

Transsexual in Hiding

Clawed and clawed 'till fingers bare
This costume which I seem to wear,
Myself I hide in darkness deep
So very long she's been asleep,
But now I want her up and out
So she can see the world about,
For as she sleeps down darkness deep
Her memories will slowly seep

Grace, James, and I.

Grace, James and I.

(I want everyone to know that this is fiction. Total fiction, none of it is real. I am not suicidal. All characters in this story are fictious. Any similarity to someone, Live, dead, undead, or from another story, is merely coincidental and not intended.)

I look up.

The chair is ready,

the single light shines, like a spotlight.

On the rope hung from the ceiling.

I step on the chair and feel the rope caress my neck.

I hear two voices as I drop.

I float for a moment, then the rope tightens.

Ghouls, Costumes, and Perfume

Ghouls, Costumes, and Perfume? Part 1
By Nikki Thong Dark_Dolly2_ml_p2p_pc_badge_taller1.jpg

This is a true Halloween story about eighteen year old twins a boy and girl Nikki and Ann, and their quest to win a costume contest that turns into an adventure that changes their lives forever. Will Halloween ever be the same for them or anyone who reads this? Best read in the dark with lightening flashing.

The story does contain a couple of hints at sexual feelings but no real sex, just the desires that normal eighteen year olds get at that age when bodies are close and lips are met. I didn’t want to have to break this into two parts but then thought I should. This is my first time posting I just hope I do it right.

Summer's End, Part 1

Summer's End
Part 1
By S.L.Hawke

It was shaping up to be a very memorable Halloween... or Samhain, "Summer's End" festival, as some would call it. It had all started a few "interesting" months back... of the, "may you live in interesting times", Chinese curse variety. Interesting times, that kept getting progressively more "interesting" -- both the good parts, and the bad -- up until this disturbing weekend. Sometimes, you must pass through a little darkness, before you can come into the light...

The General’s Daughter Part 1

Christopher Weaver was a young urban professional of the least professional sort. A consulting detective, what he didn’t know, he could find out. Now what he didn’t know was small secret his parents had neglected to inform him about his birth, the joys and hardships of leaving the city and how dangerous a cup of coffee could really be.
