Halloween 2000

"We love you and if this is part of you, then we have to accept it. We don’t necessarily approve of it, but you are our friend/brother/son and we will always care." This, to me, was a revelation and, to not have to hide anymore was the most wonderful feeling in the world!

New story?

I recently posted an older story, New Job, here. I must admit I was disappointed by the response. Although 2,000 readers opened the first chapter and 1,000 the last of five, there were very few comments. I suppose I should be used to that, every author ultimately gets less feedback than she would wish, but based on past reactions, I was hoping for more than just hitting the floor with a thud.

A cute portable for writers

During the last week I have been evaluating an Asus Eee PC for some of our mobile users who need something more than a PDA but less than a laptop. While I'm not sure it will suit our needs at work, anyone looking for a very small, full-fledged PC may wish to check it out. The standard units have 512mg of ram, a 2, 4, or 8 GB flash drive, WiFi and Ethernet.

While reading alot of stories classified as TG I've wondered ....

If someone was happy BEFORE a forced change...

Are they actually TG AFTER ??

Even tho they've resigned to their fate....

Someday a boy will survive and return to what they wanted ???

I don't recall reading a plot where the boy comes out the end as a boy happily...

Rules Are Rules: 36. So Busted!

For my part, I kept looking down at my breasts. They weren't very big, but they were mine. Home grown. I grew them myself, I said to myself proudly, from all-natural ingredients. They were the same size as the little bags I used to use for padding, but these babies were real, and they wouldn't shift or fall out.

Shortcuts update changes

  1. (afternoon) I made the Compressed Titles slightly longer, if it would still fit on one line in the cell, I lengthened it
  2. (afternoon) I added a colon as separator for Parted stories
  3. (early evening) I added the latest two stories in a new row
  4. (early evening) I re-alphabetized for the longer titles
  5. (early evening) I set the width slightly thinner to a point that it won't inte

'I' itis, I'm getting better, I think

I have a confession. it's hard to stand up and admit it, but here goes (gulp)

I have 'I'itis. For those who are not aware of this condition, it occurs where you use I too often and inappropriately in stories.

It started when I was knee high to a little grasshopper. I was doing a fan-fiction based on Jack and Jill, it went something like:

Rules Are Rules: 35. Half-Apples

Denise and I both stayed out of school on Friday. I had my tea with me, and made sure I didn't miss my daily cup. By now I had breasts like little half-apples, and no longer needed padding to fill my bra. They weren't big breasts, but they were mine, and I hoped the tea would keep them growing.

The Foster Mom's New Daughter -- Part 3

Angelo spends his first summer with his new foster mother, finally finding happiness in his life as she treats him as "Angela," a lovely teen girl. That happiness may end since the foster care agency feels he should be raised as a boy. But the foster mother and Angela's friends are ready for a fight to keep Angela as the girl she was meant to be.

A thought on front-page scrolling

Just a thought. Since we have such a (wonderful) influx of oft' posting authors as of late, the rapidity of the front page scrolling down and away has become an issue to be thought about. I have an idea...

Why not have a small plain-text "sticky" post at the top with the past three days (and links to them)?

That is, like the "Leave a Comment" post, it stays up at the top, but has just quick links to the stories that've been posted in the past two or three days?

For example, right now it would be:

Houston, We Have a Situation Here - Part 1

I had a major score. In the laundry were some of my favorite clothes of my sister's. All I needed was a little time alone and I would be satisfied, but someone out there doesn't like me. In fact, someone out there hates me.

Stark: The State of Grace

Stark takes on her most dangerous prey . . . Grace de Messembry from fleurie's The Deception of Choice. As her plan unfolds, Stark finds she has her own choice to make -- or maybe there was really no choice at all, in the end.

Special thanks to fleurie (along with hugs, kisses, all my love, and a gratitude that cannot be measured) for her insights into Grace, her world, and her motivations. And thanks as well for reading my take on Grace's "comeuppance" and pronouncing it worthy.

A Note to my Three Fans

Howdy folks. I've been under the weather all week. That is to say, weather's been over me. I've been sick. Get it? Geeze.

Anywho, I will try to get the next chapter of Being Christina Chase up by tomorrow night, but I can't promise I'll get it in on time. It might come later in the weekend.

That's it!

Rules Are Rules: 33. More Tea

"Yeah, whatever," he said. "Hey, I can only give you a quick kiss with my parents watching."

I smiled. "I understand." I got up on tiptoe, and he gave me a peck on the lips. Resting my head on his chest, I hugged him tight. Then I noticed that my left foot had "popped," like the girl in The Princess Diaries, so I put it back on the ground and let go. "Thanks. I had a lot of fun."

Thankful

My eyes traveled up my image. My hips were too narrow, my waist too thick even though I was a skinny rail. My shoulders were too pronounced even when hidden under the large, white square collar. When I got to my face I saw that my glasses were far too out of place on the one thing I could somewhat imagine to be a girl's. Taking them off didn't help anything as my vision was far too poor to see beyond my nose. With a sigh I retreated back to the closet to look for something more promising, but nothing really availed itself.

The Foster Mom's New Daughter -- Part 1

Orphaned at age 14, Angelo is a delicate boy who may be the lovely daughter that his new foster mother always wanted. Their mother-daughter relationship runs into obstacles that challenges him becoming the girl he really is.

Sephrena is okay!

Sephrena is doing great, and she wanted me to let you all know that all her operations are done and she is resting from them. She hopes to be out soon, but it may be another week. She also tells me how much she wants real food, and for some odd reason she's drooling at the food channel xD Why in the world would you watch that channel if you KNOW it's going to make you hungry, oh Seena-chan, you're so silly *huggles*

Rules Are Rules: 32. The Bathroom Conference

"Maybe your little breasts are growing."

I didn't realize she was joking, so I said, "Maybe. Maybe wearing a bra is making it happen."

"Oh, right!" she laughed. "Are you serious? If that was all it took... Oh, wait! Your breasts are growing? You're not taking hormones, are you?"

Laugh? I nearly wet myself

Joanne Barbarella was kind enough to send me a video clip and of course, I laughed like a drain and immediately went off in search of more. After all, laughter is like a drug isn't it?

Anyway, this is non-TG, but is so funny, I thought maybe some of you would like to see it too - hoping that you haven't already.

SUV's and Hybrid Cars

Some controversial posts on cars were attached to a recent story. I've created this forum for the continuation of that thread if anyone wants to but six posts with no mention of the story and an increasingly belligerent tone suggested to me that I did not want these attached to the story. Tangential discussion on a story is okay, ranting needs to be moved to a forum or blog. :)

300 and still counting.

I had my first story posted on the fourth of October 2004 on Sapphires Place, the first episode of Snafu - a confection of New Age, transgenderism, military, medical and the occult. For some reason readers liked it, and I'm still writing it, although a conclusion could be emerging eventually.

Professor Prick 6 - D-Day and the Aftermath

Moving his face to within centimetres of mine he said, “I know all about your kind; I’ve read articles and seen a few books on TVs. This is what they want; to be submissive, be tied up and have some guy take advantage of them.” he growled. Startled and scared by his actions I was silent as his hands wandered up my thighs and under my skirt and across my bottom “Well isn’t it? Look at you in your short skirt, tight top and high heeled boots, and made up like a tart; you’re begging for some guy to restrain you and have you aren’t you?” he added, fondling my breast forms.

I was scared and not sure what he was going to do...

I don't know if any of you know me, but I'm a very good friend of Sephrena, and she called me tonight telling me that she is in the hospital having surgery. I'll keep everyone up to date as I hear more. I'm going to have her in my prayers, and I'm ask that all of you will offer your own religion's form of prayer too.

The 3 Rs

Which are of course - reading, writing and relentless research (I never was much use at 'rithmetic).

I'd cracked on with my household chores all week to leave myself clear to write over the weekend. A story of my mother told me at Christmas gave me an idea for a neat short story plot set in wartime Wales, which I reckoned was going to be about 2000 words - so do-able over two days.
