I was off-duty and sitting at an observation window looking out into the dark void when my best, that is, only friend joined me to contemplate the darkness of space. I say darkness but it wasn’t truly dark; there were millions of light specks out there, all showing where a sun and a possibly inhabited world may be.

Ralph grips the sheets with his ass high in the air and his face buried into the mattress. His body shock each time as his boyfriend of three years pumped in and out of his ass. Tonight, he looked like a young Shirley Temple wearing a black lacey lingerie. He knew his boyfriend was a big Shirley Temple fan and he liked how curly her hair was.

when you live in a small town, you have to be creative when it comes to having fun. I was never really into football, but I do attend all the home football games at my high school. I really don't watch the game, I wander around the bleachers and around the grounds visiting with friends and chatting with people who might be from out of town. If there are no home games, then nine out of ten times I'll pester my sister or Heather to drive me out to the skating rink located just off Highway 16 three miles from town.

Chapter 11 – The Tribunal

Dave returns to the bank face the music. Is this the end of his career as Maria, the cleaning lady?

I showed up at the bank’s headquarters that fateful Monday in my best suit, now a size or two too big for me, and with my dyed hair in a discreet low ponytail. I was smart enough but I guess I must have looked worn and haggard. Maybe I would get the sympathy vote.

All prepared, dressed and packed I set out to the office to face the day’s new challenges

The rest of the meal was spent in silence. Though once the last hot dog had been eaten and the last handful of corn chips consumed, Kayla kind of decided it was time to spill the beans. I will never forget the look that came across her face. It was one of pure sadness.

We had a quiet dinner that night, no grand affair, just normal clothes. The hotel people were still very attentive and the head waiter did say that he looked forward to serving me when I was back here for filming.
