Eli grew up on a ranch in Montana. He had heard about Incursions, Breaches, and the Titans that came through those breaches to slaughter some people and capture others. To him though, it had always been something that happened far away to other people. His life was forever changed though when a Breach opened near his home, everything he knew was destroyed or taken, and he ended up Altered.
My name is Marc and my story began like so many others that are considered as being ‘different’.
I was raised and influenced by a single parent household that consisted of my mother, twin sisters and me. Mother desperately wanted a third daughter that she would name Marcia; instead she dropped the last two letters and I became Marc. A stint at summer camp further ignited and fueled my feminine side.
'Alterations' continues the story of Stacy's journey from 'Exchanged' and 'Little Hope.' Stacy now begins orientation and classes at Emerson as the small family attempts to stay safe from the outside threat. Can Stacy manage to navigate college classes and everything the dimension can throw at him, and still make it back home with a degree? (Story set in the Diaper Dimension)

Chapter 4 - Safe at home.
What Joyce had said, made me feel a little better, but I was still shaking. Gary suggested we leave and stop by my apartment and let me get some clothes. I was thinking also about what Connie had said to Joyce about my moving in with them. That would take care of a lot of things; such as, not coming home to an empty house, not having to spend evenings alone watching television. In fact, when you have a few girls living together, there is bound to be things to do, places to go and people to see.

Tanya exited the elevator and started toward the ICU nurse’s station, her heels seeming incredibly loud in the otherwise quiet area. Reaching the desk, she asked the first person she saw, “Do you have a Cynthia Henderson here?”
Looking up from the chart she’d been studying, the nurse asked, “Are you a relative?”
With some irritation she said, “About as close as you’re likely to find. She was disowned by her family years ago.”
The place seemed deserted and long abandoned, and I wondered if I had the address wrong. I checked the card. Nope; right road, right building. Perhaps this was some kind of a joke? Behind me there was movement on the street and I glanced over my shoulder to see a few emaciated figures emerging from dark alleys. One or two of them seemed to be taking an interest in me and I seriously did not want to hang around outside any longer. I walked up to the front door and pressed the bell, then rapped on the glass door just in case it was in a similar state of disrepair as the rest of the building.

It took Liz two days to recover from her European trip and start reading the file that Jake had given her. Once she started, she couldn’t put it down. By the end of the day she’d read it at least twice from end to end.
CHAPTER 42
That was an odd time, truly odd. I had spent my entire, if compressed, academic career listening to people tell me things, explaining to them what I thought I understood, and then listening to them correct me, sometimes dismissively.
Kyle has purged and is trying to be "normal" - only to find it impossible. After two years of misery, his sister Christine dares him to put on their sister Taryn's dress. Can he resist? What happens to Kyle - and what does his mischievous sister have in store for him?

The arrival of a heavy thunderstorm produced a lull in the almost relentless bombardment from the Enemy positions less than half a mile away.
High Explosive & Very high static in the Atmosphere didn’t go well together. For an early September day in 1916 in the Western Front, and after a very dry period where the fields had turned from mud to dust the clear atmosphere was a welcome relief.
I cast my mind back to the days events and my mum’s funeral. She was with dad now, side by side in the cemetery. I felt a bit numb about things at the moment, not willing to think too much of the future or what might happen to me...
"The palace is probably the safest place around, surely?"

clear that nobody in the palace is going to get much sleep...
CHAPTER 41
Three years we had at Bangor, three years of growth mental and physical, and although I know I am biased my Emily became daily more beautiful.
Tan goes through the selections figuring he may as well have supper since we are both here and it’s available. I con him into bringing back a little more of the cottage cheese with a peach half and another of the meat patties for me. A fiancee can be a good thing at times.
While Krista was not a glamour queen, she had developed a feminine demeanor so that even dressed in jeans and flannel shirt she appeared to be a girl. The testosterone blockers were doing their job and had effectively shut down her male puberty before it started. Remembering how tough her school life had been in Massachusetts, she went out of her way to smile at everyone and greet them. In her book, everyone deserved a chance to prove their friendship.
“One-thirty will be fine as long as you don't feel I'm wasting too much of your time.”
“No I think that having started this little trip down the rabbit hole we should see it through to its end. I'll have a car ready to pick us both up at the main entrance at one-thirty then. Until then, there's a deli at the end of the road if you wouldn't mind getting us both a sandwich. Something with a bit of meat in for me if you don't mind.”
He showed me to the door and I stepped out into the waiting area with an overwhelming sense of foreboding over how this was all going to turn out.
