Tina’s results in school had been less than her usual average for some months. This was her third school in the past twelve months. Her parents were worried, the teachers were concerned. Something was going on but what?

Cerys Evans–her with the strange accent–had taken to the new girl almost immediately, and Tina had responded–at least to begin with–now she tended to avoid the young teacher.

Chapter 4

I look at them there’s about fifteen of them and about nine of them are guys. I don’t really look at them. There’s two that look like the want to hurt me. No, it’s the six girls I’m watching. They’re the ones with the pissed beyond pissed look to their faces. It’s the same thing really in most places. Most of these guys are the boyfriends here because they have to; they really don’t want much to do with beating on “a girl”.

I slept well, and woke up feeling good, no longer did my head hurt and my confusion had disappeared I had never felt so free before, I looked at the clock and saw it was 5.30 Neither may or Julia had put in an appearance as yet so I went and had my morning bath.I had just stepped out when Julia appeared full of apologies.

"Julia don`t worry about it, I woke early and just decided to start by having a bath" I said

"Yes but Lady Margaret..." she replied

The weekend went as usual with the sewing club on Saturday the morning and in the afternoon we went modelling for aunt Sandra. The dresses we modelled were a new line of party dresses for little girls, once they had got us into the first dresses and made up, we looked about 7 yrs old, we modelled for about 2 hours and then went grocery shopping with mum and aunt Debbie.

Chapter Two

“Bicycle bicycle bicycle, I want to ride my bicycle!” Drew sang as he rode along, taking his daily ten. “Bicycle —” just then the singing was interrupted — though the music he was singing to could still be faintly heard from the multimedia phone clipped inside his shirt to his bra — by the screech of tires as a car rapidly slowed, and then honked at him. The passenger window rolled down, and the universal signal of disrespect appeared before Drew’s face. “Get over yourself! I’m right where I’m supposed to be, you gotta problem, take it up with the government!” Drew yelled back as the car squealed its tires when it accelerated too fast whilst departing. “Friggen morons,” he muttered as he cranked his small gears up another sprocket.

William woke up around seven on Sunday morning to a quiet house. He went through the usual morning routine. Bathroom, breakfast and he was now sitting in front of the TV, feeling slightly unnerved from the silence his house had. He needed to talk to his wife and son. But they were no where around.

“Nah. I....” He sighed. “I don't know. But I was going to see if you could have Dad keep an eye on my place. I need to talk to Maggie and Troy and they're in Livermore.”

As promised, a little time with William and a glimpse at Modines house.

When we arrived home after the sewing club dad called me into the kitchen, when I walked in I saw the family doctor having a coffee, after we both said hello, dad said the doctor wanted to talk to me.
