Chapter 13

It’s actually turning out to be a good day. Nothing really special and yet it’s one of those Mondays in the early fall when it’s Summer with Fall teasing her edges like a flirty lover. I’m loving my look today, the way I feel, the sway as I walk the feeling of not just being on my way to becoming who I really am but liking it too.

"Oh, so there is a Mrs. Donaldson?" I said without thinking.

"Bel's been asking that question all day," Dianne teased.

A sad goodbye leads to trouble at school. Rose spends a day at work with her father, testing her powers and learning about the unpleasant side of big business.

Hank picked up the rusty saber. "This comes right in time." They had to act quickly and skilled if they wanted to get this ugly big harem guard down for good. "Try to get behind him." he yelled over to his friend Jules, while he had a hard time fighting of the first massive strike of the ogre's huge war hammer.
