I kissed his cheek. More evidence, if I needed any, of my acceptance.

“Thought I’d leave them to themselves for a while, like”

Cody gets a necklace which will only grant one selfless wish...which is a problem since he is a self-centered jerk.

Chapter 11

Indians were sitting on ponies on both sides of us. Once again, there was no point in running. We looked at each other and just started down the trail toward the village. I turned to Rosco.

“What do you think is going to happen when we get there?”

A short part of a person’s life, but was he totally surprised by the outcome or was he leaning that way and just needed a push? Were the girlfriend and his date in league together? But most importantly will the experience change him forever?

Synopsis: As Anya takes over more duties at the Beach, she realizes that not all of the patrons are adapting well to the change. She decides that something needs to be done. This story is a rewrite of "Customer Service", which has been published on another website, bringing resolution to one character. Grandmother's lesson needed some adjustment. This story, and its conflict, set up Grandmother to be more like Ellie has written, and less like the vindictive female version of the SRU wizard that she may have appeared in early stories.

Note: In the chronology of Bikini Beach, this story takes place between ‘Anya and Me’ and ‘In the Beginning’. If you have read both 'Anya and Me' and 'In the Beginning', you'll understand why and how it fits. If you haven't read the two stories, I suggest that you read them in proper order - 'Anya and Me', this one, and then 'In the Beginning'.

Antifreeze…Part 2

I’m good after a couple of blocks and kind of drifting in and out of my more intimate thoughts all the way to Cecilia’s and I can’t but to think about what might have been if I had stayed. I get to work and head inside to get showered and changed. I’m actually in a good mood while getting into my gear for my dance sets. A couple of the girl’s look at me and smile.

Its been 5 years since I left my family. It seems so much longer to me though. But that was the only way I could survive. It all started before I was born, actually even further than that if I understand the family history. It started with a feud over a stupid pig. A pig have made its way over the fence of some family yard into a neighbors yard and ate their turnip patch.
