There seems to be a misconception that some Dr. Seuss books have been banned and that the US Government is responsible.

THIS IS NOT TRUE.

The books are not banned and it has nothing to do with the US Government despite attempts to make it appear so by some so-called conservative politicians.

The books in question are still available but the family company that controls the publishing has decided that in today's society some of the characterisations may appear racist and so they have decided not to sell any more of those particular books.

It seems every politician wants to pass some law to force everyone else into compliance as herd animals. Too many of us don't fit in with the herd no matter how many laws are passed. Let's begin the story. Trip to OKC and my change from the Women's Clinic to a Gender Clinic. Had met several of the staff from other clinics. Seems as if anything LBGT is pretty fluid with healthcare providers covering a wide expanse of offices and clinics weekly. Remind me to NOT change in the future. I had read, or heard someone say that Transgender folk have a high incidence of Autism or something on the Spectrum, but I know a woman that spent many years working with the folk and she does not see the connection.

Then I was reading on the internet and it seems to be a popular idea among PhD. Psych. folk that Transgender folk have a predominance of three serious personality disorders; Paranoid PD, avoidant PDs, and comorbid PDs. Someone else indicated that many were Borderline Personality.
