Just to let other writers and readers know that I recently tested positive for covid-19. I have a heart condition, borderline diabetes, age, covid-pneumonia to make things interesting. I am doing well as I am taking an antibiotic to help my lungs and had an infusion of a medicine that is to help me fight this as well.
Besides feeling blah and bored I m doing well.
The Big Closet family is important to me. Your thoughts mean a lot. MY heart and prayers for others with the disease, quarantining themselves and medical people.
Hugs, Jessie C

COVID & SPEEDY RECOVERY
Jessica:
I hope that you are having a speedy recovery. You are a very talented writer and I have read 48 of your stories to date. My favorites include:
1. A Model is Born
2. Anchors Aweigh
3. Cross Country Disconnect
4. Jack & Jill
5. Spring Break
6. Summer Intern (Continuation of Spring Break)
7. The Perfect Cheerleader
And, I believe that I understand your Covid concerns. I have at least 4 conditions that make me high risk including old age, but so far I am fortunate, am retired and able to remain quite isolated.
Again - I wish you a speedy recovery.

Hugs Sweety
Lack of air was my biggest problem. Took two breaths to complete a sentence. Stop every few feet to get my breath.Tested negative twice but had full blown symptoms. Taste and smell went wonka. Fever, muscles hurt, ache, migraine headache, fever, etc. etc. Besides negative tests I never went to Doc since I "wasn't sick".
You'll be okay. Don't know why they say get lots of rest? As if one could do anything else. Stay hydrated. Don't get hot or chilled, your body doesn't need the extra stress. Don't push even when you get over it. It pulls all the reserves out of one's body. Takes a couple months to get that back. Not sure if or when taste comes back? I can't eat sweets now. A candy bar or soda pop makes me sicker than a dog for around thirty hours. No cake, pie, ice cream..., life is good. LOL
Whatever anyone or me tells you, we aren't you. Listen to your body, it will tell you what you need and what to do.

A silver lining for Barb
When you have been deprived of the joys of candy and soda I have something to console you: A gorgeous size 6 dress. And yes, it's blue, a very deep blue.
To all of you who suffer from active and "long" Covid-19. I wish you all as rapid recuperation as possible.
Bru, my Pet
Sweetheart, I can only dream of slipping into that hot little number you offered. Marilyn Monroe and me are the same size 12. Wish I had her wardrobe. Sigh...,
You know the funny part about all this is when you mentioned a deep blue my fertile imagination immediately popped a full length deep royal blue floor length gown into my tiny little mind.
Hugs hon, stay away from sick people

A caution for mental health
One side effect they've finally linked to SARS-Cov-2 (COVID-19) is particularly important to be aware of for this community.
Apparently, for a very small percentage of people, it's been linked to developing psychosis, even in people far beyond the normal age for that. You can certainly research it online (I'm not linking to the articles, because I'm standing in a doctor's office) It hasn't been long enough for them to say if it corrects itself over time.
So, just try to be aware of changes in your thought processes, especially those thoughts with destructive tendencies (paranoia, anger, death). If you have those, PLEASE talk to a doctor about them.
Be well.
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.
Hang in their Jessica
Sending you good wishes and vibes, and hoping you are better soon.
