I just finished reading Maddy Bell's Gaby - Book 25 - Only Five Minutes. And I can honestly say a job well done! It's a great continuation of all the preceding books. It looks like Gaby is going to be doing some serious riding in Book 26 as she has a new, VERY fancy, bicycle. After all Gaby is a World Champion and deserves such a steed.
Take Me Out To The Old Ball Game was originally published here on September 7, 2009. And I’m republishing it for a couple of reasons, it’s the start of baseball season on this side of the pond, I’ve done some cleaning up to it, and for the new readers who weren’t here in 2009 to be able to read it without digging too deep. Enjoy.
A Native American has been appointed by President Biden to head the Department of Interior. And to make it even better the appointee is a woman, Deb Haaland, who is a member of the Laguna Pueblo. By being the Secretary of the Interior it puts her over :
I'm curious. I always check my stories to see if there are any new comments, etc.
Well, I've noticed with the final chapter of 'Tommy - The Trials and Tribulations of a Girl?', Chapter 253, that the Total Hits has gone astronomical. Most other chapters have topped out at around 1,200 to 1,300 hits with 0, 1, 2, or 3 Daily Hits, but Chapter 253 has constantly received multiple Daily Hits and is now up to 3,112 with today's Daily Hits at 25!
I'm wondering why Chapter 253 is receiving so many Daily Hits?
Since my muse hasn’t been kind enough to show me the path to a new story, I’ve been going over some of my older stories, and when I reached one of my favorites, ‘Sara, Becka, and me’, I had an aha moment.
Can someone tell me, in "Easy as Falling off a Bike," what chapter was it that Cathy and Simon went up to the castle in Scotland to celebrate their marriage? Or didn't they?
I just love messages like the two below that were sent by the same person within minutes of each other ...
I'm not trying to hurry you up or anything, but I do find it ironic that when I check to see if a new chapter is up, what comes up in where the next episode will be is "Hurry it up", lol.
Grr, I mean "What's taking so long?"
My reply was ...
" ... it'll happen when it happens. Like a good wine it's only ready when it's it ready.
I'm sad. The Navajo Nation now appears to be the center of the Covid19 pandemic in the United States. And they don't have the medical facilities to handle it. They need help.
This past weekend was a good time for writing, and then I was able to spend some time doing som editing on it. So, I just published a new chapter of Tommy - The Trials and Tribulations of a Girl?
Well, the next chapter of Tommy - The Trials and Tribulations of a Girl? is out. It took a kick in the butt to my muse and a couple of early mornings with a lot of coffee to put the finishing touches on it. So, I hope that you enjoy it.
Well, as I feared, the next chapter of "Tommy - The Trials and Tribulations of a Girl?" is going to be delayed a bit. And there are two reasons, first and not the biggest reason is that the grandkids are here every day (mom and dad are still working). The second reason is the biggest. I got lost while working on the next chapter. I knew where I was, and I knew where I wanted to go, but NOT how to get there. The batteries in my GPS are dead, so it's no help. I'm good at using the stars to guide my travel, but it's been too cloudy here.
With almost everything from the schools to the colleges to the bars to the sit-down restaurants in this state, Ohio, being shut down, the grandkids will be here a lot. This may slow down publishing new chapters of 'Tommy - The Trials and Tribulations of a Girl?' a little bit. Hopefully, the schools will only be closed for three weeks and the rest of the school year.
There will be chapters of Tommy, but with two pre-teens in the house, it's hard to work on things.
