on the computer front!

Well i've got the basics running, the inbuilt screen speakers don't seem to do anything so i've got a cheap pair of externals plugged in so i do have sound now. Tomorrow i'll sort out some WP software at which point i'll be ready to rock an' roll!

I've become so accustomed to the 12" laptop screen that the 21" is like going to the cinema - and response times are so much faster - none of the interminable delays i was having with Firefox, Edge & Chrome were both pre installed, i'm using Edge on Sam's advice and now i've got most of my links on, i'm like a pig in shit! The full size mouse otoh feels a bit weird, i'm accustomed to a tiny actual mouse sized thing rather than the well fed hamster under my palm now.

Yep, i'm sat here listening to Nena and typing this without the machine falling over - its like moving from dial up to wideband wifi at a stroke - sorry to go on but i'm a bit giddy with it - a more productive Maddy is on the near horizon!

Usual posting Sunday by which time i might have some new scribbling done.
