I wish I knew!
Well I've still not been out on the bike, I really haven't had either beans or inclination, I could blame the weather but that would be a weak excuse. Maybe some warmer weather would help but there's more to it than that, guess I just need to wait and see, hopefully my riding mojo will return with some enthusiasm.
So what have I been doing if I've not been riding? Well I've not been entirely idle, I've been for a walk each day which has been a bit chilly around the corners but its made me move, burn off a few calories at least.
But that doesn't account for full days so you'll be glad to know I've been beavering away at Gaby Book 26 each day and I'm now only @ 2000 words away from finishing! I'll be cracking on once I finish here and I'm planning on releasing the last 'mini' volume for Valentines day on Sunday. For those waiting patiently for the full volume, well as I've said previously, February 25th is the target release date, assembly of everything into a single volume and grammar/punctuation need to be checked, all time consuming but ten days should easily cover it.
It seems to have taken forever but in reality its only @ 6 months, an average of 6 and 2/3rd chapters a month which doesn't sound much but its about 250 hours work fitted around everything else going on in RL.
Going forward, I've got most of the bare bones plot of the next Nena tale ready to flesh out, I'm in a similar position with the concluding Trixiebell volume so they are my next two priorities before I start on the follow up Gaby book. That doesn't mean I won't be working on things like Skin Squared too, I certainly hope to be a bit more prolific in output this year after what have been a couple of fairly lean years.
There's a quieter day in store for Drew in todays Gaby volume, Jules Birthday Surprise, the thirteenth chapter from The Visitors.
So stay wrapped up, think about sunny summer days rather than the cold and grey outside now and enjoy the rest of the week. I'll be back with links to the new Gaby volume on Valentines Day, which is of course this coming Sunday.
Tschuss,
Madeline Anafrid
