TG Pro Wrestler in the Big Time!

Ok. I know that there probably aren't a lot of Pro Wrestling fans here at Top Shelf, but this is, IMHO important.

AS Trans persons, we are always concerned with acceptance in mainstream society. Here's a T-woman who is breaking into the most male dominated profession in the world short of North Korea.

Nyla Rose is a M-F professional wrestler who has broken the gender barrier in a new Federation...A.E.W....All Elite Wrestling, headed by a couple of former WWE "superstars."

A New Slant on Things.

I received some frightening news.

In the 15 years I've been this way, I tried to be a girly girl. Yet one time a woman said that she thought I was a Navy Seal. Another woman thought I'd done Black Ops. Not even in heels and a pink dress was I girly. :( Lately, I've decided that the transgender stuff was bunk, but there is no rewind. So now, I'm just ME, and that's fine. Still not wearing pants if I don't have to !!!

These Surgeries Still Happening.

Some of us are old enough to have had surgeries to correct sexual organ issues, and did not know until later. The story came out later for me and I had to piece bits of circumstantial evidence together until the pile got too big to ignore. Later in life I found out about my genetics ... The conclusion I came to is that the Doctor had taken me in another room and done a radical Hysterectomy. I found out that I spent a while in the hospital after I was born but not what for.

Be Brave

Hello out there,

It's been a while since I've been here and I apologize for my absence.

I haven't really been writing all that often because I've been so busy learning all about film and how to make them. I've actually written and directed a couple of short films in the last few months. Surprisingly it's been a lot of hard work.

But honestly, that's not why I'm here.

I blame the pizza

Yeah, it was all the pizza's fault, first I had to make it (well load it with goodies at least), then I had to cook it and lastly I was forced to eat it! by the time I'd finished dessert that was an hour gone. Of course, if I'd got back earlier, if I hadn't uploaded my ride stats before eating, well you might've seen this a bit earlier, but I did so you didn't.

Mahu

There is a current article on CNN about the Mahu ("Third Gender") . The revealed injustice is angering to me because those who try to control the Transgender conversation have got it all wrong, in my opinion.

The Native Americans have something similar (Two Spirit) (Not the LGBT one) In Southern Iraq there was a marsh tribe that treated the gender nonconforming as normal. Children could adopt either gender. No surgeries, or hormones. Can't remember what they were called. In India, I think, they have Hijra.

Whateley Academy or maybe not.

I've got an idea flitting around in my head that has revived an old story line that died out for me a long time ago. I have no idea if anything will come of this. There is no magic, no gender, not anticipating interfacing with Whately, though my character may very seldom perhaps visit the place on the way through the area for a cup of potion with one of the folk there. If my mentioning the name of the school, is an issue, I'd likely just not name it. My character might hate rules, love chaos, and rebel against authority, not that this character does anything to promote chaos very often.

Don't Fall For The Bum's Rush... Detransitioning

At times being out and post operative as a transgender woman can be a "Hard Knock Life", filled with desperate emotions.

A genetic woman I know has been a good friend for nearly a decade, and lately she has started listening to "Candace Owens" and her "Walt Heyer" Videos. She is driving me nuts in trying to use his nuttyness to get me to change my life. In my opinion, Candace is in the video making racket to make money, and he's gone round the bend, perhaps into Dementia?

relocated

For those who are interested, I have today relocated some considerable distance south - thanks Bev.

Will it work out? I don't know the answer to that one but at least i'm not sofa surfing for a bit.

Thanks to everyone who has shown concern for my welfare over the last weeks and months, I do appreciate it.

Hopefully I can break the downward spiral of both mental state and finances and start recovering my life.

Bye for now

Makeup tips video by 'gender fluid' man

Times are changing. While checking out Cover Girl makeup I found this interesting tutorial on how to use makeup... he has pretty nails too.

Cover Girl did society a boost by using a person that would have been "controversial" just a few years ago. Progress and acceptance are good things.

What are your thoughts on this?

Garrett Hahn shares his tips to contouring and highlighting your face, using the COVERGIRL TruBlend Contour Palettes and Highlighting Palettes.

Perplexed idea

Ok so....
I am in a cunnundrum
Need advice/feedback whatever, I feel I cannot even say what I mean to say, like a toungue twisted flute player mistaking a clarinet for a flute.

Ok, so like I read this old artical, he** I am not even sure how on earth it came to me, its random, and my memory is hazy but I saved it in a word document to use.

I am considering writing a story, that incorrporates the material described.

I am unsure whether or not to do this though, let alone post a link to the 2012 daily mail blog thingy.

Trans character on 'Neighbours'

The groundbreaking and highly successful soap opera 'Neighbours' produced in Melbourne Australia for the last 34 years, will introduce its first trans character in September. What's more, the character is played by 19 year old trans actress and activist Georgie Stone. Stone pitched the character to the show's producers and worked with the writers on her guest appearance as a trans schoolgirl.

New Rairy Contrary just Dropped.

Hello out there,

It appears Rairy just can't catch a break.

As I write this story I feel so sad. I'm one of those writers that feel's/feed's off the emotions they are writing and reading. So if I read something extremely depressing I can get really depressed myself.

Rairy is not a reflection of myself, but there are parts of me in her. She is so much braver than I ever was.

A Boy Who Can Look Like A Girl!

I'm reading "The Trials And Tribulations of a Girl" for the second time, and had a little trouble connecting with the idea of a Boy who can look like a Girl. Well there is Andrej Pejic, who has transitioned, but I thought they were quite rare. I had the problem but after about 9 years old...

I am watching a YouTube video about a tractor show and here is another one! This is very surprising to me. I think he could look like a girl with just a change of clothes, some light makeup, and perhaps a wig? Wow, just wow!

British football journalist Nicky Bandini

British football journalist Nicky Bandini (previously known as Paolo) has come out as transgender and announced that she intends to keep writing as a sports journalist under her new name. I find it very encouraging that someone in her position feels comfortable in making this announcement. I know it's not for everyone to announce their change publically, but for those who do, I say 'well done'.

Murray Hall - Caused a stir back in the day

BBC Scotland Story

Murray Hall was born in Glasgow and lived a lot of his life in NYC where he was a politician, a bail bondsman and many other things.
The only problem was that Murray was female and lived for 60 years as a man until his death from cancer in 1901.

What a great story.
