Or as we say in GOC, its siling it down!

Which is why I'm writing this now and not later. Well in truth its more of a nagging drizzle than poring down but wet enough that outside activity wouldn't be my first choice, however it is supposed to dry up later so i'll get out for my exercise session then.

So what's been happening this week?

With the more changeable weather forecast, on Monday instead of a run I took the bike out and ended up doing the Severn loop, that's up to cross the river at Gloucester then back down to Chepstow to return to Brizzle. There was a nagging wind and it was overcast but pleasant enough for riding the deserted roads. A stop by the Severn for my sandwich and another a bit further on for tea at a burger bar left me in good spirits for the last leg of the 130km / 1008m ride in a speedy sub five hour time.

Tuesday was cold damp and miserable, after the last few weeks a shock to the system! That didn't put me off entirely - I did get out for the missed run later on! I did get some more Trixie written though, maybe another 1k words to go so hopefully The Canterbury Tales will be completed in the next week. Which brings us neatly to today.

Todays Gaby chapter is Build Up, an episode that shares similarly damp weather hitting the Ahr valley.

There will be the usual weekend posting of course but for today that's all I have to impart.
