my apologies

Well its been an action packed day.

Apart from a stiffer wind, this week has been almost a clone of last, sunny and I recorded 27c earlier today! But anyhow, on Monday I continued with my running, I'm sure it is getting easier but I guess it takes time. I should be happy just to be running but that competitive thing is pushing me to improve, run faster, heck, maybe even run the complete 7km circuit!

Tuesday is of course a bike day, another fastish effort of 111km but with a little less climbing, I even found a nice field in which to have my mid ride food stop.

And so to today - with the nice weather, rather than just a longer shopping trip I thought a bit of a hike would work as my daily exercise session - I erm got a little carried away! Well I set out to follow the local river upstream a bit, the Frome River walkway is a signed walk all the way out to Yate but my ambition was somewhat less. It was a joy to be walking in the countryside for a change so instead of turning to return where I planned I kept going a bit further so my 12km route turned into 18km! I did stop for coffee and a sandwich but I was still a bit foot weary when I got back.

And then, the reason I'm posting so late in the day, I started the thankless task of preparing the next Gaby reissue - Wunderkind 2nd edition will go to Amazon tomorrow, i'll post details when its done.

Finally for today, Garded Response is todays free Gaby chapter.
