So I didn’t forget you all nope, I’m just a bit weary. Why I don’t here you ask? Well I’ll tell you anyway.

I hinted at a trip the other day and that has come to fruition. Yep, after best part of 3 years I’m finally on a mini bike trip. It’s nothing grand, today I rode down from Bristol to Somerset’s other seaside resort, Minehead. It’s not a huge distance, a mere 120km, but with the strong winds and latterly a few steep climbs, it’s been quite a tough day.

Thankfully I’m not camping, I scored a really good deal on b&b at a reasonably posh hotel so I have a comfy bed, TV and a kettle! As it’s sort of a late birthday trip I treated myself to a curry for tea - okay there was beer too but just 1. Tomorrow I do the return journey which will be train assisted as I’m doing a loop into Devon and sort of Exmoor so not a straight retrace.

But I’ve missed Monday and Tuesday - well Monday was chores and baking a huge chocolate cake. Tuesday, well we had a visitor so I cooked far too much Stroganoff for lunch then later spent hours getting to grips with how IPhones work! By the weekend I’ll have a PC running again too, thanks for everyone’s input, I’m now the proud owner of a very over specced machine, I know I’ve said it before but I’m really overwhelmed with the support I’ve had from you lot. I won’t embarrass anyone with names, you know who you are, I’m forever in your debt.

Suffice to say that my 3D scanning plans have been moved up somewhat after being put on hold last year. More on that later, right now I need to get some beauty sleep ready for tomorrow’s effort’s.
