Hey everyone, I'm writing from Melbourne, Australia. It is really nice here, and even though there are homophobic people here, like everywhere else, the acceptance for trangencered and gays is just unreal. I guess nobody can be themselves without conflict of some sort, but I have been here since October, 2007, and I have had no problems.

The node counter table in the database got corrupted during the crash early this morning. The system seems to have crashed due to a power brownout, probably due to high winds in LA. Bob and I will try to fix the database table tomorrow but I still haven't tracked down the My Stories problem.

I don't know if anyone noticed but the front page now holds only six days worth of stories instead of seven. When I got caught in a thunderstorm on my road bike, that six months later, the blog I was going to write and instead became a story, is still going. One of the big issues of traveling is that sometimes my only access to BigCloset is via a PDA mobile phone. When I'm in 3G area, the mainpage isn't too bad to download, but when in GPRS it does seem to take its time, especially with all the graphics and formatting.

One thing that some sites do is implement a mobile version which formats better for these devices.
