Yesterday, I got myself into a discussion that I shouldn't have (I know - "oh no not again," you're thinking), but really, the argument was stupid because whilst we were both using the same language, we were both using it different ways.

Here's what I mean

Some vital points were raised by participants in the recent blog discussion about food instigated by SueBrown and left unanswered, because she flummoxed me and I had to concede that I did not have the information readily to hand. In addition I was falsely accused by Sarah Lynn Morgan of hastening the demise of the Homing Leek. I will demonstrate below that this is a monstrous calumny.

Last night, I posted the following text in a bulletin:

I guess I was having a bad night. It certainly isn't reader's comments that keep me writing. No one could exist on such paltry feedback.

So where does inspiration come from? Tonight it came from two pieces of classical music (one by Schá¶nberg, one by Ives), Klimt's 'Judith' and an assist from Oscar Wilde.

I'm 300 words in and it seems to be going swimmingly, though there's a better than fair chance that when I read it back in the morning it's just going to be pretentious b*****s.

Oh well :)

Many people will notice that I use the above title when I end a comment. I use the phrase to celebrate the many gifts, talents and skills of all T.G. people. If an I.Q. test was to be given, I believe that Big Closet members would rank very high.

In a few minutes I will be sitting down to my favourite meal - roast beef, yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes a couple of green veg and gravy thick enough to stand a spoon in.

I have a question that I can not answer. The answer would make life all the more confusing for me. I am not sure I want the question answered. A great many people I know are much nicer people than I am. They carry heavier loads, have more cares, and often they face bad health every single day.

Just a thought. Since we have such a (wonderful) influx of oft' posting authors as of late, the rapidity of the front page scrolling down and away has become an issue to be thought about. I have an idea...

Why not have a small plain-text "sticky" post at the top with the past three days (and links to them)?

That is, like the "Leave a Comment" post, it stays up at the top, but has just quick links to the stories that've been posted in the past two or three days?

For example, right now it would be:

I have added some illustrations to Aunt Greta's Homework–the first story in the series.

Just thought you might be interested, and that it adds something to the story for you all.

Howdy folks. I've been under the weather all week. That is to say, weather's been over me. I've been sick. Get it? Geeze.

Anywho, I will try to get the next chapter of Being Christina Chase up by tomorrow night, but I can't promise I'll get it in on time. It might come later in the weekend.

Sephrena is doing great, and she wanted me to let you all know that all her operations are done and she is resting from them. She hopes to be out soon, but it may be another week. She also tells me how much she wants real food, and for some odd reason she's drooling at the food channel xD Why in the world would you watch that channel if you KNOW it's going to make you hungry, oh Seena-chan, you're so silly *huggles*
