This is one of main favourite stories. I thought I'd check its date to see if it would make the 1-, 2-, or 3- year list, unfortunately it misses out by a couple of months.
I recently picked up a two decade best of SF omnibus, of the stories I have read so far, none could match this work by Aardvark.
If you haven't come across it before then give it a try.
I've just deleted all of my stories in A Mother's Love sequel. I may delete all my other stories too so if you want to keep copies of any of them then it might be wise to do so soon.
I love the interactivity of this website, why else would I be up at 4.30am wanting to respond to a few comments at the end of my latest little effort at fiction.
The first point to address is what happens to Meryl, the girlfriend of the hero/heroine. Why isn't she around in the main series?
