Authors Note: I couldn't sleep last night. Once again the nightmares and the fear of them got to me. I decided it was time to write it all out in an attempt to give myself some closure. This is the events of the past year and a half in my life and while there are some happy times this is far from a lighthearted tale. Please don't read if you're not prepared for it.

Chapter 46

I wake up with the dead arm feeling and a smile. I can’t help the smile even with everything that Alex and I talked about and stuff. I’m happy and it’s hard to mess with that but I’m going to.

I slip out of bed and I go and I make a coffee and it’s pretty early but I’m up for a reason. I make a strong pot of coffee and I hold my mug under the perk until it’s full them slip the pot in. Lots of sugar and some creamer and I wait sitting on the steps in the garage just outside my door waiting for.

Adam….

“It's a Valley girl thing. It's getting huge, but it sounds stupid.” Sage replied.

“Tracy, mean people are everywhere. That is a fact of life.” Sage stated.

I’m scared and excited and terrified and elated and bouncy all at the same time because we’re going shopping and I have my own money and I’m going out with other girls my age.

We pile into all the vehicles and we head off down to new Minas where the closest mall well actual mall is and it’s kinda small compared to what I’m used to more like a galleria down in the states.

Alex…..

He walked from the dorm towards the gym to get in some time before classes on the machines. He had just got a decent sweat going on when he saw them. Rick who he was on the hockey team on back in high school and Tommy.

His boyfriend.

Not his but Rick’s.

“Well, we'll find out today.” Tracy scratched the cat's ears as she sat up. “I just hope that Mom comes up.”

“But what if she doesn't?”
