Hope's Light (Chapter 1 of 35)

by Erisian

Book 6

If you have yet to read the saga - the tale starts here:

Into The Light

Hope you enjoy!

Part One

Prologue - Bargain

“Are you certain this is the right path?”

Two figures crept down a narrow underground passageway, shoes slipping across shallow puddles lining the curved concrete floor. Their coats, one jet black and the other a lighter brown, flickered in the weak light offered only by a white crystal held forward by the taller and much darker-skinned man.

“They didn’t provide a map, Callas. I told you the same instructions they told me, and your memory is as perfect as mine. If you think we’ve misapplied the sequence, you should’ve spoken up.”

“Hmm.”

Inner Demons, AKA "Journals of an Angry Trans Gurl"
© 2017 Haylee V

* This is a true account of my life experiences. All persons portrayed in this story are based on actual people I've met throughout my life, and the events portrayed actually happened. No malice is intended to those individuals involved, and names have been altered to protect the identities of the people portrayed. *

The Cat In The Cradle Chapter 10

Rebecca and Kat were the first ones to come around. Their heads felt like someone had used them to play drums on. Rebecca was still blurry eyed, but Kat was totally aware of her surroundings. A very angry feral growl escapes from Kat’s throat. Rebecca could sense that Kat was very pissed. As her eyesight cleared, she could understand why now. They were locked in some sort of large cage. All three girls were sealed in some sort of clear glass chamber that had hoses going to it. There was some sort of black cloud moving around inside the chamber.

Yep, I can fly (part 5)

What if you could fly? You, know, be a kick-ass superhero whenever you want. That's what happened to college freshman Ned. Though, here's the catch—every time he uses his powers he turns into a woman. Still want to be that superhero?

The Spanish Flower Chapter 14

Don Juan Carlos got in late after coming from his meeting with Jack down in Mexico. Jack had sent him pictures showing the death of the Cartel leader and the destruction of his crops, building and everything else he had. He even showed the picture of his head on a stake right where the road went into the cartels compound. Juan leans back in his chair and thinks about how he wanted to explain to his daughter how he didn’t know about her till recently. He had one more thing to do before he turned in for the night.

The "Poor" Nobleman

Many years ago, a very wealthy nobleman took his son with him to tour his vast lands. Along the way, the son saw many of the nobleman's poor serfs. As night approached, and being far from home, they reached perhaps the poorest serf they had encountered. The man and wife looked bedraggled - their clothes were little more than rags, their small hovel run-down, and crowded by them and their three children. Cats and dogs ran in and out frequently, and the food was nothing more than fruits and vegetables -- there was no meat, no cheeses, no bread, and especially no wine.

The Unfortunate Experiences of Mike Cross, Parts 7-9

And here are three more chapters. These took awhile after a lot of depression and writer's block fucked me up for more time than I generally want them to, plus I was busy doing a lot of other stuff. In fact, there's a character in one of these chapters who actually comes from a story I haven't posted here, and know not when I will. No clue when the next chapters will be, so buckle in and wait after you give these a read.
Just a warning: There are feels in this section. Genuine feels, that I didn't think would actually happen, but they did.

Be Careful of What You Wish For Chapter 1

Freddy sighs as he stares at the statue of Athena at the Parthenon Museum in Nashville, Tennessee. He had skipped school again to come and see the statue that he has told his deepest darkest secrets to. He so much wanted to be a girl, but had been born a male. He also wishes that Athena was his mother, instead of the one he has now. His birth mother had died from cancer and his father had gotten remarried.

WildFire Chapter 7

“Well, we have your stage look now. It goes well with Sirens look. Now we need to come up with a name for you.”

Dusk and Sasha were standing before Rose looking at the look Dusk had created for Rose when she performs on stage with the band and next to Siren.

“Let’s see. We could play on her name like Thorny Rose, Silver Rose, bumble Rose…” Dusk had a mischievous look on her face when she says that.

“or Irish Rose, Wild Rose, Fire Rose?” Sasha walks around Rose and stares at the costume/stage clothes and Rose’s platinum blonde hair and amber eyes.

“Clio?”

Why are You Still Carrying Her?

Once upon a time, two Buddhist monks were walking along after a horrendous thunderstorm, marveling at how nature could be, in one instance, so tranquil and beautiful, yet in another, so violent and devastating. As they were walking along the path, they soon saw the wood bridge spanning a fjord had been washed away, leaving little way to cross the stream except to wade in the swiftly-moving water. As they were removing their sandals to do so, they noticed a young woman, heavy with child, struggling to ford the raging current.

Atalanta's Story Continued: Reaching Home Chapter 11

This chapter hopefully explains what happened last chapter. There's a fair amount of tension between the school and Atalanta with Manny siding with Atalanta and leaving Sam walking a fine line.

As always I want to thank Ashleigh for her editing skills. It would be mostly unreadable without her as grammar is not my strength.

I do hope you enjoy this chapter and I will appreciate your comments and answer any questions you have and of course kudos.

The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane - Part 10

The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane - Part 10
By Barbara Lynn Terry

Chapter 1 - George’s house is appraised.

The next morning, at nine thirty sharp, Scott Andrew Block drove in to the Shepard’s drive-way. As Scott was getting out of his car, John Shepard and George Simons came out to meet him.

“Morning, Scott,” John Shepard said, greeting his long time friend. “Scott, this is George Simons, the man whose house I asked you” to come and look at

“Hi George,” Scott said, extending his hand in friendship. :It is nice to meet you.”

Never Pull on the tail of a Wolf (revised) Chapter 15

Jack covers up a yawn as he drove from the private airfield back towards his ranch. He had just landed a thirty minutes ago and had gotten in his hummer to drive back to the ranch with Chaos. Both were jet-lagged and just wanted to get home. Jack pulls up to one of the convenience store near his ranch and parks. He was still feeling tired and could use a cup of their cheap coffee.

Being Different Isn't So Bad Chapter 4

It’s been a month since August came to live and work for Rebecca. The first thing she had done, was take her shopping to get the clothes she wanted to wear. She made sure she had all the proper undergarments and clothes she could wear to go out to eat in, work and play. She treated her to a day at the salon and introduce her to a friend of hers that has been doing her hair and nails since she was a teenager.

The letterbox - Part One

I was standing there and feeling nervous, not sure how he would react when he saw me. I was in his house and I hoped he remembered giving me his key on Monday, four days ago. I saw his car pull up outside, and I quickly slipped on my heels, and looked at myself in his mirror. I felt great, confident, so I slipped the short satin robe off, leaving it on the sofa.

Learning to Change - Part 2

Chapter 2

“What is that?” I asked worried about the flash I just saw.

“Nothing, just a photo, you look very beautiful in that dress” She answered.

“Please erase it, I don’t want anyone to see it”

“Don’t worry, I’ll keep it just for me, I won’t show it to anyone” She said smiling.

“Aren’t you angry?”

“Just a little, you should’ve told me you liked girl’s clothes before, I could have lend you some” she said kindly. I was a little confused, I thought she would be mad.

Being Different Isn't So Bad Chapter 3

Rebecca was feeling down and sad that her father might die in the next three months. Lev had tried to make her happy and she appreciated it, but it didn’t help any. Rebecca’s nose start twitching as does her ears as well. Her nose was picking up a ripe body odor smell. She heard some noise coming from behind her. Rebecca stops what she was doing and turns around to see who the person was.

The Life Of An Angel Chapter 7

Angel smiles as she snuggles closer to Carol. She was resting her head on her right shoulder and her hand was resting on her breast. Carol’s arm was wrapped around her as they slept close to each other. The two of them had made love most of the night and she had enjoyed every minute of it. It had been a long time since someone has made her feel like she did last night. Carol had touched her in places that the men she had slept with had never touched. Angel closes her eyes and let herself drift off to a peaceful sleep.

Arista is.. awake [5.6]

ourIceMain.jpg

There's a time for jokey introduction statements; this isn't one of them.
Arista is awake... I repeat, Arista is awake!

Events unfold including but not limited to:
Ellie having fun babysitting Alice,
Hannah takes a stream of interrupted naps
(none of them by choice),
and Arista has unreasonably large breasts, apparently.

Get ready to strap in again folks! The countdowns started and we're in for a bumpy ride!

I heard a story the other day, and I thought I'd share it with everyone. I'm not entirely sure, but I think it may have come from an old Ann Landers column or something...

The Difference Between Heaven And Hell
