There were so many of these Halloween characters, moms, and dads out on the street as the sun was going down. What have I done – what have I won? What am I doing? Why am I trying on a whole collection of new clothes? Clothes so very unlike anything I have ever worn before.

I’ve put 50 stories up so far. I was aiming for the next one to be kind of special rather than just ‘ok’ !!….. but it’s not up to me to judge. Chapter 8: Lessons Learned

That day was one of the most fun times I had ever had, though the girls quickly got bored and wanted to leave. Thinking that if they got chances to drive a car, they might want to hang around longer.

As I was looking around at other peoples equipment as they started coming into the pit area, I made my way over to Aaron and Roger's table. I hinted around that maybe if they and another friend might try to get Clara and the girls interested in cars, that it might be nicer around here.

Bill, the store owner, chuckled from behind the counter. “I think you’ll find that it’s vampires, technically, who suck. And don’t feel bad, Andrew, I know how much Sam spent on his deck.”
