Chapter 6 - The Date

Once Peter and Sheila were over the peak of the mountains and descending the western side the road followed a stream that splashed and danced over the rocks as it ran through the verdant forest. At each turn in the road a magnificent new vista was revealed and Sheila was enchanted by the scenery.

"I had no idea any of this was here, Pete. It's beautiful."

“You never know where life is going to take you.” my mother always used to say, and now it had definitely taken me in a new direction.

CHAPTER 16 - Housekeeping is like being caught in a revolving door. It never ends.

Once they were a good distance from the motel, Beth was stopped at a red light and said to Ellen, "My brother has changed, his appearance is more feminine than masculine. When did he decide to become a woman?" Beth gripped her hands under her breasts in the universal big-boobs gesture. "If I didn’t know better, I would say my brother had grown breasts.

"It’s a long story, let’s go home and have a cup of tea and I will explain it all to you."

Contagion

Yeah, i was there at the start of it, but I didn’t know what was going on until it was too late.

Fine, Let me start at the beginning.

First thing I noticed was that some of the girls coming to school all super dressed up

Dresses, heels the whole thing.

I just figured some class was doing something. Giving ballroom dancing lessons or something like that.

But the number of girls coming to school all super girly kept getting bigger.

Edwyns mother learns how to handle her sons abilities and his connection with his sister. Edwyns father intervenes and he begins school

There was no sign of the rowboat in the river. No trace of the bathtub in the sky. I was back in my town, back in the normal world. Everything was right again, except that I was someone else, and had a month to learn a new language and a new sport. Perfectly normal.

Chapter 39

Judy rubbed one arm and nodded to her. Exhaustion was apparent in her eyes, as much as anyone might have seen if they bothered to look.

Mai Took the invitation and sat on a free space of her daughter’s bed. The Swan Diva posters and the superhero themed stuffed animals were all still in fine condition, which made her hint at a smile before turning her full attention to Judy.

“As you know,” Mai said, “the Grandts are moving in a couple days.”

“Yeah?” said Judy.

We finally get the family safely into Westport: Dawn.

Stone

Chapter 36 – Arriving at Westport

Stone returned to the camp, set up a mile outside of Westport. He had decided to camp for one more night, because he didn’t want to take all the wagons loaded with gold into town in the evening. He climbed into the caravan, where the rest of the family was eating. He took his bowl of stew. There were still-fresh rolls from the Three Rivers bakery.

It was well into the afternoon when I finally reached creole-style cottage that I called home. I quickly climbed the wooden steps that lead onto the wrap around front porch and then taking a deep breath entered into the living room. The air inside was scented with the smell of roasting meat and vegetables. I guessed tonight corned beef, and cabbage was on the menu, judging from the heavy, savory, beefy smell that perfumed the air.

“Jamie.” My mother called from the kitchen. “Is that you dear?”
