The trip was not unfamiliar to her since she had grown up next door to him on her parent's farm. They were boyhood friends, and now through a twist of fate, they were husband and wife.

They found Maryann and Genine lying on the bed, the latter still clothed and alive while Mary’s skin had returned to normal, and her wings had retracted. Both slept, but their mistress heard Max. She placed a finger over her lips. Maryann’s smile was assuring, but her eyes were sad.

Genine gasped then. Repeatedly. She sat up with wide eyes when a moan escaped her lips. She looked around the room, and leapt out of bed.

Brook, Keira, Keely and Karla graduated with honors. Again the whole family was their, including Kelsey and Brooks little ladies. Of course there was an argument on who would hold them. Grandma's won out but relinquished the girls to Great Grandma's about half way through. Although grandpas carried the girls down to meet mommy on the main floor afterwords.

The honky-tonk roadhouse was rocking when she rolled up on the vintage hog. She walked the motorcycle back towards the stairway that led down from the front door and porch. Taking the mirrored aviator shade off, she surveyed the area for people standing around and spotted only two. They were on either side of the entrance. Both were over six two and looked like they had played linemen on the local community college football team.

I recommend giving her series a read sometime if you have not done so already. When we were both writing our stories, this was the first of a couple overlaps that had occurred, but you do not need to go read her first story to understand this one.

Stone realized that he was in battle mode. He looked around as he pulled Pate, and saw a wireframe in the distance. It was red, a sign that it was an imminent danger to him. He soon realized that it was a dragon, breathing fire as it swooped around the fields of the farm they were passing. A gust of fire hit the thatch of the barn, and it caught fire.

Adamast was trying to catch his breath and speak at the same time, but at best he could manage was a nod tilted to the side. The other heroes standing with them laughed to themselves. They were in the Steel Canyon area, and standing outside of a cave entrance.

Nostalgia and time travel had a bite like a stray animal in an alleyway. Ironically enough, an alleyway was exactly where everyone found themselves in the wee hours of the evening. The heroes—Adamast Cross, Psi Wizard, War Lagoon, and Princess Undercut—stood by a strange pillar of blue light. They had seen and used it so many times, but it was still strange. Just like five years ago, and the time before it, the pillar was the only source of illumination in that alley since the two wall-mounted lights were out.

She was the offices of a doctor just off of Harley St. Adrian had insisted that she do her transition properly but privately. Today was her first visit to the Psychologist who would supposedly help her transition.

“Dr Hillier is a little behind schedule today. Please take a seat. She should be ready to see you in ten minutes. Please take a seat,” said the receptionist.
