A friendly place to read, write and discuss Transgender Fiction.
Home of 3000+ chapters of Easy as Falling off a Bike by Angharad and many other stories.
I'm going to use this as a place to discuss search, how to use it and what people want to use it for.
A few things:
When you use multiple words in a search, the default is to perform an OR search. Searching for curly perm will turn up both curly and perm and will list first results that have both terms.
Searches are case insensitive. Perm, perm and PERM are all the same.
Searches are made for roots, so perm, perms, permed and perming are all the same. But permanent is a different word.
A plus symbol in front of a word in a search means that word is required so curly +perm will return only results that have some form of perm in them and will prefer ones that have curly, also. +curly +perm results must have both words though not necessarily next to each other.
A minus sign means do not include the following word in results so perm -curly would return results that matched perm but would not include ones that also had curly.
Quotes around a phrase will search for an exact match, but will still ignore case. "curly perm" will match Curly perm and lots of variations but both words in that order must be present.
Comments are regarded by search as part of the post.
The sidebars allow you to restrict searches to posts that match various criteria, like type of post, audience rating or authorship. At the top right is a sidebar that allows you to control how the search indexer orders results.
When we upgrade to Drupal 7, this will all change a bit but not drastically.
You can use this thread to ask questions and make comments about search.
Against his better judgement, a man gives his wife a very feminine piece
of lingerie for their anniversary. She does not appreciate the gesture and makes
an offer that he takes her up on.
The next story I'm going to share with you was told to me by Junior Scoutmaster Emma Jeanette Pierce. I'm also going to confess I went a little overboard with the name of the story. I don't apologize for it at all though, mostly because it conjures up perfectly the vibe I want to capture with these stories.
The Ghostly Dancer at the Annual Cotillion Ball
Told By
Emma Jeanette Pierce
Stacy didn't join me for two weeks. I suspect one week was for the funeral and one week was to get her emotions under control. She thought the love of her life had died. I was sure she still cared for me, but spending two months with me after Celeste had just died was probably the last thing she wanted to do. After a week and a half, I was beginning to think she wouldn't be coming.
[Authors note]
The story picks up again (if you forget my foopah of a posting from last week) when Matt and Kelly are on their Honeymoon. They have been travelling south down the Oregon and California coast and are in need of some refreshment.
“Do you want to stop for a Coffee?” I said to Kelly.
“Maybe we could get something for later at the same time?”
I then said “What just happened to me and how did you do that?” Merilyn chuckled and the light disappeared. “Oh Mummy, these people today have no idea of what they have let loose” she said “If we had been able harness lightning in the early time we could have ruled the world."
Sam saw Michelle sitting at the kitchen table her head down looking upset. Fiona was grinning like a Cheshire cat. She was dressed as she always did throughout their marriage, dowdy. She was wearing jeans a baggy sweater and minimal makeup.
"What do want Fiona?"
"Is that any way to greet you wife Sammy?"
"You're not my wife for much longer, what have you come for?"
Although I had used my needing to work out my future as an excuse to justify my absence, there was an element of truth to it. The more successful I was, the more likely criminals would target me to prevent me from catching them. I needed to balance my desire to help and save lives with the danger doing so involved.
“This time I saw another Adaption. It was a grown man, he was kinda handsome if a bit short, but he turned out really cute. Though he freaked out so much that I felt bad he had been transformed, he wasn’t at all like the younger girl. I am starting to think not everyone who was chosen to be an Umbra Girl, wanted to be one.”

The three exited out into the hallway after Heather turned down the lights in Faith's bed and bath, showing Eric how to do it with a long stick made for that purpose for people not tall enough to reach them.
After a brief recess, Judge Fallon returned to his bench. "Be seated." he stated wearily. Looking out over the assembled people, he blew out a breath. "This case has been full of esoteric questions. Has Christina been abused by being made to live as a boy, even though she didn't seem to mind much? Did the plaintiffs ever have custody of their child, even with no birth record? Thusly, can parental rights be reinstated, even though they were never legally severed to begin with?"
Shannon O'Reilly was bullied and everything his older sister wasn't. When his sister Sarah gives him a chance to change things through a single wish things don't go as planned.

“I thought I was Jockette,” I grumbled. I should have just worn the White Witch outfit.
The Girl He Would Not Be
A Short Story
By Maryanne Peters
When you grow up with somebody you never really think about what they look like, until one day you just turn around and you see something you have never seen before.
Looking back, I can remember my mother talking to my father about Bruce, and saying: “Not just a good looking boy, but a pretty boy.”
Saying goodbye after the funeral was difficult, but the trip to Miami was quick and easy. I was on good terms with Cole, the Superhero League teleporter and he agreed to drop me off and pick me up when I was ready. I think he felt sorry for me after my time in Washington. He also told me that he would be speaking to his superiors and if I was willing to work again, he hoped to arrange superhero bodyguards.
When we got to the room the porter put our bags on the shelf and Griff gave him a tip as he left, saying “Enjoy your stay.” I looked at Griff and said “Griff, just so you know. I have been using the biggest dilator in the pack for some weeks now. If you want to make love to me tonight I wouldn’t mind finding out what all the romantic novels were on about.”
The sound of a car horn woke the couple. Michelle stretched.
"Owww my face hurts."
She slowly got out of bed and went over to the full length mirror. Her nose was swollen and her eyes were puffy. She had a purple swelling around her left eye.
"Oh no, my face what has he done!"
The tears started to flow.
"Come on now Michelle, it will be fine in a day or two."
She doubled over sobbing. Sam knew it was delayed shock from nearly being killed by her stepfather. He bent down and pulled her to her feet.
Gasping as the room was plunged into darkness, a crack of thunder rolling over the house several seconds later, Eric thought he heard someone squeal in fear. After it passed, he found himself wrapped in his aunt Heather's arms and he could finally hear the sobs of fright escaping his own lips.
As Christina walked into the courtroom, she was nervous. Living with her grandparents these last five days had been both wonderful and heartbreaking. That first day they'd been loving toward her, but after her grandmother knew the truth of who she was and told Walter, she'd lost all hope of acceptance.
