Andy Warhol said,"In the future, everyone will be famous for 15 minutes." What if your 15 minutes came late in life, and fame decided to never let you go? Could you survive the circus your life would become?
On my way back to the apartment I oscillated between being upset with Cindy over what had transpired earlier with Sarah and creeped out by my encounter with Dr. Wyler. By the time I’d made it back home I’d reached the conclusion there wasn’t a lot I could do about the Doc, but a conversation with Cindy was definitely on my to-do list.

Ten year old Joey is caught again looking up girls dresses, this time in his Sunday school class. A loving but frustrated Mom decides she has to take drastic measures to make her son quit this terrible habit. This time Joey pays the consequences with a capitol “C”.
If you read Part I of "A Year in My Life", you would know that I found the love of my life, Katie. Kate and I became engaged just before high school graduation.
The other outstanding thing that I learned about myself was that I have a more feminine side, named Gwen. Gwen is who I am when I'm dressed as a girl, or now a college coed.
Kate was a driving force in finding Gwen, and helping her blossom. If you haven't read Part I, you might like to. In fact, thinking back, I should have called this story "A Few Years in My Life."
This part of my story covers the first year of our college life. It certainly hasn’t been boring. I can't tell you too much without giving away the story, but things got very interesting for us in college. Among other things, we met Tiffany. She tried to come between Kate and me, and almost succeeded.
And, a special thanks to Jenny van Eik for editing this chapter.
Disclaimer: This is a fictional story and any resemblance between real people and places is unintended. It does deal with Transgender themes and the supernatural. If these are not for you than stop here please! Thanks again to Janet Nolan, Hope, Nellie and Paula for their great work and patience in proofing and first reads. Any mistakes of course is mine. (Important Note: Due to a mix up on my part I posted an earlier version by mistake. Hopefully I have the corrected version posted now. I apologize to my proofers for my embarrassing goof. Please not the boiling oil!)

Christopher Chase stared at the tiny clock in the computer's taskbar. 8:45 PM. "I'm the last one again," he said aloud, the sound of his voice echoing through the old factory building. Chris regularly worked late; it was just part of the job. At the age of nineteen, with only a high school education, he felt lucky to have the job at all. Still, being a full time support technician, aside from his role as an unofficial and underpaid junior programmer, gave new meaning to the phrase "low man on the totem pole." He was more like the guy who waited on the park bench across the street from the totem pole, praying for the day they decided to make it just one face taller. That would only help him if the three guys on the bench with him would quit or drop dead before that day ever came.
Synopsis: Just prior to Jezzi's story Darling Dainty Donna and the family ganging up on Don for being mean to Bobbi I thought this story could be inserted instead. There is no meanness, no underhanded ploys, just a boy reaching out for answers from a family that he feels he has lost.........
An incident on a hiking trail through a swamp leads a solitary man to new companionship, a new point of view and a new appreciation for justice at work.
Hi again! I have not written anything in a long time. I hope you enjoy this. The story is strictly from my own mind, for better or worse, but a lot of the basic beginning theme come from real life. How weird, huh? Don't forget to comment and expect regular episodes often!

I've now caught up - that is, this release is only about three thousand words behind where I've written up to, but I'm busy clacketing away to stay ahead... :-}
P.S. I've been increasingly unsure if my genre-tagging is accurate, and have fallen into the dilemma of certain aspects of the plot that maybe should be signposted in the tags but haven't been, largely because they only emerged - even in my own mind - as the story progressed. (But also, in some cases, because to do so would be a massive spoiler. :-}) But I do worry that the tagging may no longer accurate and would welcome feedback on this.
P.P.S. <geek>I switched to Scrivener partway through this week's work, and with it to a different way of exporting to HTML. You should only be able to see the join if you view source. :-)</geek>
