Former boy, now transformed, walks to where her father still lives.

Rings the bell, fights the urge to run away.

Old man answers, still rigid and unbending despite the years.

He looks at who it is, his face a stone mask.

“I told you when you left, you are no son of mine.”

Her heart breaks.

His expression softens.

“But, if you can forgive an old fool, I would be honored if you let me call you my daughter.”

Cheeky Alice had even managed to squeeze Margaret onto the reception guest list without me noticing, so she was sitting smiling fondly with the old tart as more speeches came and went.

Okay…it’s bee the most stressful week that I’ve had in a long time. The TG Witch knew me and she hasn’t really laid off of trying to find me. I think I might have wronged her in a past life or something.
