Haunted - A Halloween Drabble

Printer-friendly version

Haunted, a Halloween Drabble.

I heard her, whispering in my bedroom. “You promised!”

“I cant”

“Its Time!”

Again and again, I heard her. “Please?”

Finally, I give in, and go to the trunk, and put on the dress, the makeup, the wig.

I look in the mirror, and I don’t see a boy.

I see her.

“Finally!” she says.

“Finally.” I agree.

“We’re free!”

We speak as one.

We are one.

Forever.

Well, what can I say? I just like to speak my mind. One should never be afraid to say what one feels! = )
You're BOTH totally awesome authors though. If my stories turn out to be liked even HALF as much as I like yours, I will be very happy indeed. ^_^

Short, sweet, to the point.

Very Good,

Dorothy! Now, everyone knows how what you wrote works. Halloween, a chance to dress and be your fem-self. I had a different problem, I think it was Renee's second Halloween; I went to a gay and lesbian bar and a girl asked me if I were a man or a womyn.

I've since figured that being fem on Halloween wasn't a good idea for me. Some soft but handsome young guy could look as good or better than me in drag. The next Halloween I had on camo combat fatigues, camo face paint and red lipstick. I took my two daughters trick-or-treating; everybody knew I was a womyn. It just worked better!

Hugs and Bright Blessings,
Renee
