Dot’s Harlequin Dreams
Author's note: Sometimes, my brain doesn't make sense. If you doubt me, read this
Dream 1
I dreamed that I was with a caravan of performers, and we were taken into custody and brought to a beautiful Arabian nights style palace.
Once there, I told the guard what we were, and then the prince of the kingdom came in.
He was about twenty-five, very handsome, and for some reason, shirtless.
He demanded to see what we could do, so I started doing a simple stage magic trick involving a pack of matches.
All the while, he was staring right at me, and I was afraid he would figure out that I could do real magic, not just stage magic.
The dream ended with the prince making our group the official royal entertainers, and me wondering if this was a good thing.
That feeling only got worse when the servants separated me from the rest of the group, taking me towards the rooms where the royal harem lived . . .
Dream 2:
I was at University, and was getting frustrated and upset and my lack of understanding of the courses.
In fact, I got so upset I went to the administration office planning to withdraw from the university.
But while I waited in line, I was approached by a young man, very handsome with dark skin - and once more, no shirt.
He said he noticed how upset I was, and when I told him why, he offered to tutor me so I wouldn’t have to quit. He gave me his hand and led me to his dorm room, and that’s when I woke up ...
I'm not gonna pretend I can make sense of either of these

Yummy, shirtless guys
Somethin' on your mind Dot? I do like me a good racey dream, better than what I usually get.

Making Sense
Who said that dreams had to make sense? For me, dreaming is my mind's way of tormenting or terrifying me.
I took this morning's anti-anxiety dose just before napping early this evening. I think that the medicine kicked in during my horrifying nightmare, because it changed suddenly and became less horrifying. Still not pleasant, though.

The Island
In the Chronicles of Narnia, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, there was the Island where Your Dreams Come True.

Better than television
I always enjoy your dream-transcript blogs; but these 2 needed to be posted as a story.
Dreams are like nightly visits to the holodeck, with programs designed by David Lynch.
I don't go in for point by point analysis of symbolism but I did note a subtle
undercurrent of horniness to these two, which makes you human.
Wish I could say the same about my own electric sheep dreams...
~hugs, Veronica
What borders on stupidity?
Canada and Mexico.
.
these dreams as stories
if I can flesh them out a bit, I'll definitely post the results. huggles!
It's not what we dream

Thanks for sharing these with us. I enjoyed them.

Why?
Why do they have to end when they're getting interesting?
