Haunted, a Halloween Drabble.
I heard her, whispering in my bedroom. “You promised!”
“I cant”
“Its Time!”
Again and again, I heard her. “Please?”
Finally, I give in, and go to the trunk, and put on the dress, the makeup, the wig.
I look in the mirror, and I don’t see a boy.
I see her.
“Finally!” she says.
“Finally.” I agree.
“We’re free!”
We speak as one.
We are one.
Forever.
