According to MS Outlook, Olympic champion Bruce Jenner is making a film about his transition to female. As he's related to the Kardashians, who it appears publicise everything, it's hardly surprising. However, the support he appears to be receiving from them is heartening.

Regardless of the reality of the situation, what I find amazing is the predominant attitude reflected in the comments to that story. It's rather heartwarming, IMHO.

Jenny McCarthy recently revealed that she has always felt a little transgender on the inside (in an interview with PrideSource). And now, we’ll spend the next 300 or so words trying to figure out exactly what that means.

I'd never heard of Tom Grace until he became Laura, but apparently she's some sort of pop singer with a band I've still never heard of and according to this article, some sort of trans icon. For those interested she's making some films about trans people for AOL.

The original site I picked this news up off is really off the wall when it comes to TLG things. Part of the "hate them" crowd. You can figure the comments were skewed. Lots of likes dislikes about this story at the school and on the net. Net search of the story turned up a little less hate mongering at the following site.

Comments on the stories of Kellie Maloney, the ex boxing manager. Quite a reasonable article from one of the most presentable of UK transwomen.

Native Oklahoman and Hollywood great James Garner has passed away at the age of 86. My first memory of him is on the TV show "Maverick" (which he hated), and he went on to become one of the most versatile male leads in Hollywood, able to move from TV shows to movies and back. He was always proud of being from Oklahoma, and its impossible for me to come up with even a partial list of all the things he did to benefit the people and the State of Oklahoma.

They don't make them like this anymore, and that's our loss. RIP Jim, we're gonna miss you.

While the expected names have surfaced in rampant speculation over who might be a leading candidate to become the first female member of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, bookmakers have quietly moved Olympian Bruce Jenner up their lists.

This is a really enjoyable film with a British boy actor Asa Butterfield and a young French actress Cloe Moretz. They sometimes could be sisters since he has such feminine features. She looked like his older sister and was slightly taller that made him seem even more girly.
It took me back to my early youth when I could easily have presented as a girl and when I had my first experiences. A lot of nice memories are locked inside and sadly no mobile phones or digital cameras. Who knows what would have happened if I knew then what I know now.

So, out of sheer boredom, I was watching Sandra Bullock in "Miss Congenality 2". Lots of T girls in this movie, some of them credible. Well at about 43 minutes from the end, she is having this girly duke out and suddenly her boobs are down round her waist and not staying where they should.

Why didn't they take that part out? I mean she knew she was filming a scene, (not a BDSM scene) but the other kind. Could she not have worn a bra? What was with that? So if her boobs aren't real, why did she not put her bags of rice in a bra?

The first woman to circumnavigate the glove was disguised as a man for the first portion of her journey, and was brutally raped by the crew when she was discovered. It's not a pretty story.

A little while ago (June 5, 10:58pm eastern) I got an e-mail from Laika. From out of the blue, actually.

Her e-mail was a little funny - it didn't have a subject-title, it was also sent to four other people that I didn't know (who is DALENEK1 anyway), and the e-mail's content was just a hotlink to an ad about a raspberry diet supplement.

And a few minutes after that, my iPad started asking me to re-confirm/re-enter the passowords for my other e-mail profiles. Hmmm... that's funny. Anyway, I didn't, and nothing bad happened when I didn't re-enter the passwords... Hmmm...

I cannot therefore help but think that Laika and I were being spoofed.

If anyone happens to be in the Northern California region, come and see our production of a new musical theater adaptation of Francis Hodgson Burnett's "A Little Princess" at the Sacramento Theatre Company (in Sacramento, CA... if that weren't obvious). It's a wonderful story about never giving up on your dreams, about imagination and curiosity and understanding other people even if you don't agree with their choices. On top of that, it's a beautiful production with gorgeous music.
