Well, I told you I was on a mission. Now that mission has required me to do something I have not done in nearly 30 years of online presence. I outed my real name and address to Amazon.

I just clicked the link Tigger provided and it appears that Amazon has taken the author's page down. Looks like the reviews and phone calls had the correct effect. Hope that story thief gets what's coming to her. Great job everyone. We caught another thief!!

Nothing new. Sorry. This blog was written a bit differently before, I apologize for that too. Today has kinda sucked for me to be honest. It started out a lot later than I wanted and it just sorta slid down hill from there. Some personal shit of mine came crashing at me earlier this evening. Stuff that had been building to a head over the week and it finally got to me. I wrote the blog after that. First rule of writing---at least to me---Never Write Angry.

That doesn't explain why there's not going to be an update tomorrow though :(

Well, 5000 words published since Friday eve and another 2500 written. Not sure it'll be seen today but I might start work on #37 before the day's out whilst the words are flowing freely. Next on the agenda, Sunday dinner! The cooker awaits, where's my apron?

I've been a member here for eight years and 12 months. I guess that's close to nine years.

I have had a hard time in my life with writing. As a child and a teen, all I knew how to do was structured writing for school. It was boring when it wasn't stupidly stressful if I messed up, which I often did. I hated it. Then I discovered that I could say screw you to that type of writing and write fiction like the stuff I read to escape. I wanted to do it so badly, yet I struggled with it going months, sometimes even years without writing anything.

Yep, I'm home from my latest adventures in Europe, an excellent weekend in good company exploring some of what Hessen has to offer (we did have a squint at Bavaria on Sunday too).

My readers, you all really loved this last chapter! Wow! more reads than the last one and really quick!

Well, over the weekend, Sephy finished posting my Holmes story, A Study in Satin here on BCTS. I really wanted to just say thanks - to Erin for the site and for welcoming my stuff here, to Sephy for reformatting the story, finding the art and then incorporating Brandy Dewinter's original artwork into the posting here. Its all on my website, but I feel better knowing Brandy's work is in more than one place on the web.

I have a bit a problem.

I am kinda blocked on Mercy, to the point I'm willing to ask for suggestions if anybody has one.

But that doesn't mean I'm blocked for story ideas.

I have started what I hope will be a funny take on Alice in Wonderland.

I am noodling an idea called "Help! My girlfriend is a unicorn!"

I even have a Jaci and Dottie story peculating,

So its a strange problem, that I'm blocked on the one story I really want to get back to writing ...

Ah, well.

Reading about an accident locally where a little boy was run over while riding his bike and dragged under the car. It reminded me of a story about a little boy that was run over by an elderly neighbor. He's in bad shape but docs have to wait for his parents to return from England to get permission to basically perform SRS on the boy. The parents are caught up in the 9/11 aftermath with no flights being allowed in or out of the country. But it seems our little boy has some ideas of his own!

Keeping on a Gaby theme, I've started scribbling on the series again, my editor received 4 new chapters this morning! There is a remote chance i'll have the current arc complete for Wednesday.

A day of extremes here in Yorkshire.

The positive - I'd been stressing over my income to cover the next month for a few days and a visit to the bank this morning cheered me up no end. There's enough to get me through the month if i'm careful and don't go mad eating or buying stuff. Why is this month tight? Well the trip to Austria pretty much used up every penny I had then a follow up of trips to London and next week's trip to Germany have ensured things remain very tight. After next week though I get a few weeks to consolidate things so things will become easier.

Some years ago I was running a tabletop RPG in which my players were exploring an underground ocean. They had their own ship and were attacked by another ship. The crew of the pirate ship seemed to be made up of human-sized spiders carrying cutlasses and firing muskets. Except some of them seemed to come out of nowhere and attack with nunchuks, sais and shurikens. And some of them seemed to be undead and unkillable.

During the course of the battle one of the players said, "Wait, wait! Stop! We're fighting Zombie, Ninja, Pirate Spiders?"

I am finally posting Chapter 13 of Mother's Child. Family issues, illnesses, surgeries, work and a death in the family all helped to delay it.

Finally I got ready to publish this chapter a month or two ago and it had been so long, what with being ill and all since I had started it; I went back to the beginning and re-read everything from chapter 1. I discovered this chapter reallllly stank. I threw almost all of this chapter out and started over.

Here I hope is a worthy chapter. Enjoy, and let me know if you see problems and I will try to fix them.

I'm looking for a story.

Interdimensional monsters have attacked the earth. The main character is an orphaned boy attends a school that trains those who gained powers after the invasion. Four powers each tied to the four elements. The main character ends up mastering all four powers.

On Saturday my course begins and I'm going on on holiday the next day - clever planning that - c'est la vie. The thing is, I've invested quite a bit of money in the course, a degree in Environmental Science, which is going to keep me a bit busy for the next six years. I'm hoping I'll still be able to write some Bikesodes, but obviously nowhere near as many as you have had in the past. I'm still working part time and that has got very busy as well, so life isn't easy at present - and the dormouse stuff I do in real life is also quite busy.

For the last few weeks I've been dealing with some crazy stuff. First I got into a car crash and was in a coma for 3 days from what I've been told. I've since recovered and am at home. Secondly, for those of you wondering where the hell is Broken Phoenix, i'll get to that later in the post.

Thirdly, I lost my great Grandma the day before my car wreck and even though I'm trying to put that behind me it's hard losing someone who was so close to you for most of your life.

Fourthly, I am getting married next May!

Now for the part that really irks me.

I'm looking for a female Drow Warrior picture where she is clad fairly decently and not copyrighted to use as my avatar in various places. I thought I was Ferie but it seems clear now that I'm not that nice.
